Perfect. It sent (spammed) you my feedback. I hope it helps :)

(1 edit)

My bad, I thought I had it linked in my profile here on itch. I've done that now...
Anyway it's https://twitter.com/thyneedles

Hi! Thanks for letting me playtest. I followed you on Twitter/X, if you follow back, then I can direct message you with some feedback, unless you are alright with it being shared here in this thread, of course.

Pretty neat!

Wooh! love to see you keep working on this :)

Thank you! I guess it works if you purchase it 10 times :/
A shame indeed.

It doesn't matter, but thank you :)

Great feeling and effects when you dash down and hits the blocks. I can sense that a lot of work has been put in to make the game feel good to play both in terms of controls but also that it just "hits" as mentioned before.

Could use some audio, however.

Pretty neat and graphically pleasing. Sound stopped working after a few seconds unfortunately :(

May I suggest a shop mechanic, where you can spend points to purchase boons, such as a reroll, or maybe a specific attack type, etc.
Then you also have to consider your current points that you have to spend (thus temporarily decreasing your score) in order to potentially earn more points in the future.

It was around 2600 I think? I wrote in my name and pressed the submit button, but nothing seemed to happen, so I just ended up exiting. I'm pretty sure it should have appeared around at the 7-8th spot at the time or something, but whatever :)

Really good game! Very polished and well made even for 30(+) hours. This could easily be a mobile game sold on the stores or the like - I hope you develop this game further :)
Also, I'm not sure if my high score was registered :/

Nice artwork for Daniel! I think there is no coherent art style which is a shame. I read below that there are powerups but I can' seem to make them work?? D:
Nice game for 3 hours :)

Hi there! You can throw me a DM on twitter. My handle is @thyneedless
Thanks :)

Hello there, my entry was removed from the gamejam page. I am just wondering why? The game was called PUZZLE SLIME and it was a game previously release in other jams, but work performed in this jam. I even made a devlog explaining my work for this jam...

Is this a mistake or was there something wrong with the entry? Thanks, if someone can explain, I am fine either way, just a bit disappointed that I have not gotten an explanation...

I really like this one. The characters are really cute.
I found it difficult to place portals which made it frustrating to play :/

Huge potential for a more in depth game. I'm thinking similar to Hyper Light Drifter or similar.

Controls are not the most intuitive however. It was difficult to get the character to hit enemies if they were slightly misaligned.

I likes the graphics, but the controls sometimes did not work. I managed to get stuck :(

Very cool puzzle game. I guess Portal inspired :P
I had some issues with moving the camera when the mouse hovered over objects, and also I got stuck in one of the levels because the human walked away and never came back :C

I think it would be preferable if the portals were two-ways instead of one-way - for ease of use. Then it could also be a good mobile game as well :)

Cool idea, it was fun to play. With a little tweaking it could work well on mobile I think :)

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it :)
I will check yours out as well!

Thank you very much, I will check it out!

Thank you very much! Yes I have, it was really fun :)

Thanks you for your feedback. In the future I will probably add some options for sound effects.

Thanks for playing :)

Thank you!

And I forgot to say thank you. I will check out your game as well over the weekend :)

Yes it currently relies a lot on post processing effects, which probably was not the best decision. It played fine on my computer in browser, but I have seen others play where it is laggy as well. I will look into that in the future. Maybe release a downloadable version or tone down the post processing and find a compromise.

Thanks again! I will be adding more levels after the jam and add more features to puzzled and in general for a better experience.

Thanks for featuring me! I am happy that it sounded like you were having fun :D

I don't know what happened to the screen however, the aspect ratio was not supposed to be phone-like :/

I was busy today, but I will be sure to check out your game in the weekend :)

Hello, thanks for playing and liking my game!
Yes I used blender for modelling and animations :)

Thank you!

Oh! I did not know xD

I pressed E many times rapidly until I realized what I had done xD

Cool idea and really well made. I loved the music and especially the sound effects xD
I understand this is a gamejam so time is finite, but I think it lacked a clear goal to why we are digging for WPC.

This is really a cool game. I could image this would work really well on a phone with portrait orientation. I felt like the went a little bit too fast as it was very difficult to get around some of the obstacles.

The graphics were really nice and well made! I love the slime and the pixel-title sprite is really awesome. The music was really nice, did you make it yourself?

Thank you very much! I hope to work with this game further after the jam. I also had some ideas that I did not have time to implement. Thank you! I will try your game as well :)

Thank you! I hope to add more levels and improve the game after the jam.

Thanks for playing :)

Nice game, it was really hard for me - on easy mode! xD
