Aighto, add me on Discord - NetroAlex#1090; I'll probably write you another block of text there to sort things out

'ay, I'd like to know if you would like to do a few sounds for a 16bit rpg. I'm a bloody beginner, also I started a week late and I'm a master of procrastination so I'm not sure whether I'll completely finish the game in those 90 days. If you'd still be willing to, I would add you on discord and hit you up as soon as the game is at a stage where you can get the feeling of what the sounds should be like

What a coincidence, guess what I'm doing

Aight I sent you a request

I also did my first game jam last week (didn't finish my game tho I planned wayy to big)
I didn't really assume that you would be the team leader(I didn't assume anything), I just wanted to try to create a game in a team, so don't worry

I actually like the game. I'll have to clean up the code a big bit and still add a lot of things and do tweaking and stuff, but I'll definitely finish it

Yeah, sounds good, but I did a game with a linear story which wasn't finished and I hadn't implemented some mechanics I really wanted to add and I had to go to sleep. I'll still finish it tho

Aight, I'll keep it in mind, hopefully I won't forget it, but I'll focus on making other things - I'm a bit burned out on the game I made for this jam, it might take a while

At least we learned that we should start making a playable game first, then we can add exra stuff :D

That's what I wanted to go for, I actually left out a lot of stuff I wanted to add, but it still was too much

Thank you very much!

Well I wanted to join your team but the fact that you have years of experience is kinda scaring me with my few weeks coding experience

I wanted to do a way too big game with story as a beginner developer (making my first game in my first game jam)

I actually brought it pretty far, I implemented lots of things and I was 50% done with the story, but I'm nowhere near the finishing line for my game and I have to go to sleep now so I can't finish it in the remaining 11h. I'll aim smaller by a lot for my next game jam, I'll definitely keep that in mind

Big problem. I live in a different time zone, I late joined, only have 11 hours left and have to go to sleep now so I can't finish it and I would need lots of time to finish it, since I'm a beginner developer and I'm neither good enough nor have done enough programming to have it finished quickly

Fuck ;-;
I'll at least finish it after the game jam somehow, my first game deserves it

Absolutely. And it's basically my first time coding more than only a script in which you can run too

And it's a hussle but it's kinda fun ngl
