the video is not designed to be a game, there's no telegraph nor flow for the player

i just put it together because i could

skill issue

think of pacman if it was a platformer game

i'll definitely improve the guns and shooting mechanic

it seems like time got slowed down in water

i would add drag into water movement, and make normal gravity weaker

yeah, that's all

would you play this if it has the entire pc?

find an upgrade and jump on the doors

this camera angle is for isometric game, so maybe add some degree of moving sideway

good game, tho the screen flashes black when i got hit

i'm looking for sound designer

skill issue /j

making (enjoyable) games is the hard part

seems impossible to play, what if when the ball hit a bomb tile, it lit up and has a fuse countdown,  the ball  bounces out and hit the bomb again to defuse it?

hold q then press left mouse button to drop your flashlight. the idea is you can hold 2 items and use them with your mouse, at some point you need to drop the flash light (like in this room) to bring more items at once

should make the monster stop during jumpscare.

idk if the mist is too dense but you should show player how desperately long the corridor can be

you can do it with engines like game maker or godot, if the scope of the game expands later on

the saw should sync with wasd or at least make it spins faster if you press wdsa

this would work better as a visual novel

yeah it's annoying when the cursor is out of bound. but i don't think godot can change that on web version

it's probably better if i didn't give the player a flash light, or at least have a "no light" warning at the entrance

should have intuitive top down control

nice

imo it'd look better without anti aliasing

would it makes more sense if the clock drops a key when you solve the puzzle?

supossedly, if you hold the flashlight, it will follow you regardless

there's a setting tab to change volume and mouse speed.

i use godot's built in mouse capture so it's probably a problem specific to the web version. i tried the pc build and it's locked at middle.

what if i replace the thin keycard with something bigger, like jars of eyes?

right now i'm making a parody mascot horror game, hopin it'll sell well so that i get enough resource to cook this game, which will take >3 years

give it a year or two

yeah, i don't know how to make npcs

yeah i'm learning godot, it's basically plug and play, unlike the dependency hell that is unity

did you play in web mode? unity's new input systemcan't get button from browser i assume. other than that use wasd and space
