Wow, looks like a new Yakuza series minigame!

Thanks! I understand that most players prefer quick games. But I really like games with a gradually unfolding storyline, albeit short ones ^^

This technique is called sprite stacking. In short, sprites are drawn sequentially with increasing offset in a specific direction.

Thanks for playing! I think the dizziness may be caused by the speed at which the camera is rotating. You can decrease the sensitivity of rotation when pressing key 2, and increase it when pressing 1.

Yay, I have completed the game. The last level was really difficult ^^ I dont know why, but the visuals  reminded me of a Super Meat Boy xD

I also managed to collect all the crystals. Are they needed for something?

Nice game!

Wow, the game looks amazing! It felt like I was playing some kind of a real retro game. The  main menu looks awesome. Gameplay is intuitive (although I activated hints just in case). I also liked the fact that I have multiple lives and after a fail I will not lose my progress. Great work!

Thank you for playing! Actually, this is not a real 3d, and there are no 3d models at all ^^ . It's just that a lot of sprites are drawn with an offset. This technique is called sprite stacking.

Thanks for feedback!

It's funny that the game has several types of weapons with different mechanics. The music is very driving!

However, there are things in the game that are not entirely obvious. For example, I didn't immediately realize that the square plates were armor, or that I had a melee weapon. I also did not realize that there are zones that damage you, but you can walk on them.

Anyway, the game is really good!

I'm probably not the first who said that, but the game is very much like castlevania ^^  Very high quality graphics and animation for pixel art, which I really liked! Also liked how the worms are implemented

Sounds are a bit lacking, such as hero attack and shooting, but this doesn't interfere with playing.

There is also a question about the final boss. When he sets the bats on you, I don't have enough flight time and still take damage. Can this be avoided somehow?

I have really enjoyed playing the game. Great work!

Thank you! If you're interested, this technique is called sprite stacking. Until this Jam, I had never used it before, so I had a desire to try something new . It was tough, but I think we did a pretty good job :)

(1 edit)

It has always been fun to play games where you have to explore something. It is a pity that there are not  many varieties of creatures.

Also when I tried to catch the last mob (worm) I failed (my memorizing skill isn't so good at far ^^) and when I came back I couldn't control the submarine and there was no light at all.

Nice work anyway!

Yes, due to the limited time, some things may not work as expected, but we tried to make the game playable without any significant lags and critical errors ^^  Thanks for your feedback!

The most unusual game in this Jam. It was interesting to learn a lot about neon signs ^^

Sometimes it was difficult to make some pipes, because instead of rotating the heated part, the entire pipe rotated. Once I just reset my pipe by mistake, because the keys are very close to each other

At the end, I have collected 29/35 stars. Nice game!

In general, when I was a child, I did not really like to play Tetris a lot ^^ . But this game is so well done that I spent a lot of time playing it (but I'm still a noob in such games, and my highscore about 55000).  I like visuals, customization, several modes and scoreboard. Its a great entry!

It was fun to play! The music and sounds are very well-chosen ^^

Hey, thanks for playing! Apparently, this puzzle was not very obvious ^^

If you have stuck somewhere, I wrote a walkthrough file. Its inside the same archive

In general, I am satisfied with everything. The only thing I didn't notice right away was the note and juice at the party. Maybe they should be highlighted a bit? Anyway great work!

I liked that you can make a choice in the game (I have saved a colorful town). I also liked the platypus, who said that the buildings were not designed inside due to lack of time xD

What needs to be tweaked: NPC collision masks. Now they take up the entire sprite, although usually in such games they are made only in the area of the legs. Sometimes it made it difficult to go to some places.

Yep. Btw is there should be a out-of-bound area? I get lost ^^

A short, but nice game!

Oh yeah, it's all coming together.

I beat the final boss twice. The game is awesome! But there is work to do:

  • Optimization of a Discard Shop. Its a laggy. I think the reason is that the cards are also drawn out of sight
  • Also Discard Shop - Better to reduce the number of cards displayed at a time, its not very convenient
  • When I hitted the final boss, its sprite scaled outside the game window
  • Sometimes discard deck visually glitched

I hope you will continue development of this project. Great work

Yay! I have completed the game! Evolved crossbow is OP btw.

I didn’t get used to the controls right away, but in my second try I get it ^^ Why did you abandon idea to use a mouse for aiming?  I think it would be a great feature.

Also sometimes I couldn't buy the firewall somewhere... Is there a limit on their number?

Great work! It was fun to play

Nice game! It was intersting to play.  The explanations of skills helped a lot (I didn't understand right away). But it seems to me that a more dynamic soundtrack would be better suited for such a game. Anyway, great work

I have updated the game, now you can change the sensitivity with keys 1 (increase) and 2 (decrease).
Thanks again for your feedback!

Are you talking about camera rotation speed? Probably, I have high sensitivity on my mouse. I will add a sensitivity setting asap

Thank you for playing btw!

Hi! I had the same issue a few months ago, so I fixed my project with this tool - YYP Maker. It's free btw. It helped me, I hope it will help you too.  Since then I started to use Git more often ^^
