This game has a decent amount of polish, and I had a good time with several playthroughs. Nice work!! Great pixel art!!!

This game has sooo much depth for a jam game, my most favorite one so far!
As a small note though, if you plan to edit it in anyway I'd add a warning if I want to return to the homescreen when pressing "esc". I accidentally pressed it once thinking it would pause the game and my heart sank at the progress lost : P
Nice, this already looks like a complete game, even with option to buy things - haven't seen any game so far in this jam to have that ;) ! I like how you thought to combine tower defense and RPG side scrolling platformer type, cool !
Everything about this game is amazing. The only tiny hiccup will be the starting seems to be a bit confusing . Eventually, I understood how the game works and it was neat. Got to finish the story mode! I found the stronger middle tier guns to be the best in terms of power and endurance.
Oh ya, the art and lighting is amazing!
Interesting game! Management is not familiar (not very convenient for me).
It looks and sounds good. Good luck in development =)
Interesting choice of mixing eqyptian aesthetics with steampunk AND neon guns^^ Artstyle was great! I liked the attention to detail with the simulated cape and especially the 3d backgrounds were very impressive. One thing I would change is maybe to make the weapons also switchable with Q/E and not with 1-6 because moving your hand and searching the right key is werid sometimes. Good job overall :)
Cool game! The presentation is awesome and it had interesting worldbuilding with the Egyptian theme and the two sentences I read of dialogue.
I don't play Rogue-ish games that often but I was able to pick up what to do fairly quickly.
I somehow got 16,000 Neon, and by that I mean I got it on purpose with my effortless level of skill. I didn't mind of course, as it gave me the opportunity to try all the toys.
One improvement I would add is to dramatize enemy deaths.
I noticed they fade away but it's a subtle effect.
These weapons look and feel powerful, I WANNA SEE BADDIES BLOW UP!
But yeah, this is impressive stuff. :)
Nice atmosphere and graphics! Overall experience feels nicely polished. But I couldn't figure out what to do. I've encountered only a few enemies after a long while and then I suddenly died. But maybe that's just me :) Rated!
Pretty cool lighting effect, shooting animation also very satisfying. I feel the game would fit perfect for a gamepad input, which would add a lot to the game feel. Cheers!
Fun game with a lot of polish. The lighting helped the art feel so moody and mysterious, just like being in an ancient tomb. Really loved the lighting. The auto aiming was also nice and I think fit pretty well with what the game is. Though mouse aiming would have been fine too, I didn't find or feel there was an issue with the auto aiming. And it is always nice to play a game one handed when you just want to chill haha. Overall, had lots of fun and visually very awesome too.
Yay! I have completed the game! Evolved crossbow is OP btw.
I didn’t get used to the controls right away, but in my second try I get it ^^ Why did you abandon idea to use a mouse for aiming? I think it would be a great feature.
Also sometimes I couldn't buy the firewall somewhere... Is there a limit on their number?
Great work! It was fun to play
Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you find it fun!
As for the aiming system, in the first stages of the game, I thought that it was redundant and unnecessary to have manual aiming when the view port is small. There was some thought about the input, as we wanted to give some level of accesibility by making the game playable with one hand.
About the walls, unless it was an unkown bug, structures cannot be bought during waves.
Awesome concept with stunning visual design that immediately made me interested. The mechanics felt intuitive, and the variety of weapons and paths left me wondering about different strategies I could use in my next run. The level of challenge was satisfying without being too difficult as well. I strongly recommend checking out this interesting fusion of neon, Egyptian mythology, and tower defense!
Overall an amazingly clever and well-design game. Absolutely love the art style and the way it aided the theme and the vibe of the game play. The game is impressively smooth and has a variety of weapons, which makes it fun to play and challenge yourself multiple times either in endless or story mode. I definitely would recommend checking out this game.
