I think it has it's ups and downs. Mostly Positive.

After resorting to the comments for controls I figured out how to start. I think this could benefit from further development though.

Wasn't sure how to "Win" Maybe I didn't notice something but it was still enjoyable.

It's alright. I'm not sure how the coins are used and they don't reset. Can't wait to see how this game grows.

I couldn't get very far, I think some of the hitboxes were too big and sometimes it said I hit a wall when I was 1 to 2 pixels away. Other than that it's an interesting design.

I know for the most part it's just not my type of game. Despite that I voted honestly. Matches the theme, it's fun to play, it has decent mechanics, and the sound and music were great.

It's nice. I wish there mas more to play. I enjoyed the game loop and level design.

I want to know what inspired this game. it has this level of addictive to it

I wonder what you will do, if you plan to take it somewhere,  to make it a full fledged game. I like the frame you've set it allows for almost endless direction to move in. Keep up the good and hard work. If you wouldn't mind, check out Ah-K Wah, my game of endless torture.

I couldn't get the full feel because I played it on my phone as wasn't able to move. I still enjoyed what I could do and it shows how good the game is already. I think moving forward to the finish line for this game then adding cross platform would be great.

feel free to message me on discord any time. I will get back to you as soon as I get the notification, discords buggy when sending those to me, but yeah I would actually love to join several groups and push some of these game to full launch.

Right I needed to work on the basics to understand what's happening but ran out of time so I could get the main upgrades in.... Will work on further! (To Do: Make tutorial!)

So you build up and just keep gaining points. I plan to have a "distance" tracked and set that up to some magic equation to give a score and possibly a leaderboard for funsies and such. but the point is the points

Question, Concern, and Praise.

Q: What engine did you make this on?

C: When Diving from the top and in the top area in general, slight lag or something. gets really slow but then picks up as I go past the second or third row of blocks.

P: Very chill and relaxing. Easy to play and get lost in. I want to help push this forward if possible.

He doth not drown, simply wakes up from a dream into another one, right before he would....wait, what? I don't know man. Maybe I should add some plot so it doesn't seem like a torture machine. In early development I would launch it, and at that time, air would run out or you would hit a rock and you would get a point and it would reset.... I hit 10K multiple days in a row (I had school and would reset it everyday before I left so...) I'm just saying he has "woken up" a lot of times already. Eh, I'm sure he's fine... 😅

I liked it. As in it was enjoyable. Can't wait for more to be added to the story. perhaps it could be adapted to a phone game or a tablet game. Make a whole bunch of random level designs and launch it on the appstore or googlePlay?

I really enjoyed it. My one question... How do I pick up the treasure chest? Okay, so the Grappling hook.... LOL 😅

I would love to collaborate and build off of each other to produce a gaming sensation that would potentially blow AAA games out of the water (Pun not intended lol XD).

I plan to add bigger and potentially more intense obstacles. More upgrades. More player features. some easy things to add would cut the 999 air time upgrade into chunks of like 33 and have an upgrade to allow further upgrades. You know more things for longer game, filler stuff. I want to add enemies such as fish and crabs and sharks. I want to go through and rework all the art. And so much more. I actually have a thought chain I can build off of and I'm so thankful of this Jam for the theme. Sometimes just a push, in one direction can set, the whole path.

Also I left a comment about your game it was very intriguing slightly aggravating but overall fun. Very almost skill heavy, no? Maybe I should work on my gaming skills than hey?

I found I could not get past the Jellyfish guy that shoots you. perhaps there is something that I missed? Regardless I think the concept is very fun and enjoyable.

Right, and right. I plan on adding a "turtoriale" (Turtle tutorial) explaining all of the games play concept. That and sounds became something of a wish with my time management due to school and work. thanks for the feedback I will be sure to play your game and return the favor. :)

I did have a crash I'm not sure of the cause? I ate a kelp on the right top area and it decided that kelp was expired or something. After a relaunch it worked fine and I high scored 179 I think. It seems like a really well built concept and would love to see where any future development would take this!

Taking feature requests!!!!

What should I add?
