i won’t say it’s easy but it’s not extreme any way it’s not the hardest ever.
These kind of games, where you face waves and upgrade your stuff are always fun to play and I always want to play more. Good job on that as you were able to fit in quite nicely into the theme! One thing I would love to see bit better and more intuitive is the UI as I was lost there. But I myself hate to work on UI as it is quite hard to get it all right and satisfying. Anyway really great job done!

I like your spin on the survivor genre! And I like that you can also get permanent upgrades. But I think the constant need to spam click to fire gets kinda tiring after awhile, especially with how it can take awhile to take down certain enemies. And I also noticed that the cannonball's path is actually fixed locally to the player's position rather than globally, making it so that the cannonballs will actually travel with the player's current location (I'm not sure if that's intended but just wanted to point that out). All that said, it has a very good foundation.

Realy cool game, cool game loop, a lot of time you need to spam click and i take a lot of power cause of that without know what did they do, more juice in action maby can be fun.

Fun game and unique spin on the survivor formula. Makes me wonder how the game would play out if the ship controlled like an actual ship. Mouse-click for firing is quite awkward since it's easy to pick skills accidentally.

I believe by adding things like more feedback on small actions (maybeeven use a little physics, maybe) would make this delicious to play

In general you made a very cool game! Level up system and overall art style direction are very top notch, sound effects were great too!
I did find cannon fire rate a bit too slow to be fair, or at least would have benefitted with causing some knockback on enemies that it hits.
I would also make the harpoon as something unlockable from the start and make it that purchasing better once would increase the range etc...
And of course, look into that UI bug for Ultra Wide screens ^^

Great Game! It was fun to play, but i have few suggestions/problems with it.
First is the UI/GUI. You can get lost there easily and i suggest to simplify it. Main menu is mess and seems un-responsible (my suggestion is to: simplify and add animation to buttons).
Second thing is boat physics. You can too easily change direction in which boat goes and it has weird feeling that it accelerates if you press two buttons at once like W and A or S and D.
Third thing is waves. I suggest that you spawn them not every enemy at once, but over time as it can get laggy (experienced it).
Fourth thing is leveling. You can easily miss upgrade you want when you're fighting enemies.
Fifth and last thing is music. Game could use pirate-themed music in background.
Overall game is great, but needs improvement

I second this. The level-up perks pop up while I am spamming left-click to fire my cannon, resulting in it auto-picking a perk before I can read them. My suggestion is to give the level-up event a buffer where clicking does nothing for 1/3 of a second, to prevent that. Other than that, I def enjoyed it, it's fun.

You need to unlock the harpon, and after it you can grab it with right click :D
Nice game, and nice idea. My game was similar to this, but i didn't thought about using boats. This is much better for this jam.
