Thank you!

Bestest game ever. Love the art and the controls are actually pretty cool for being so simple. I like that you have to keep pressing left or right to keep moving or you can crouch but then you cant do tricks. Its a cool little tidbit of complexity. Also I like menu being left or right to pick what you are doing. Sick tricks bruv

Wow thanks for going through all that effort to try the game! Hopefully you did enjoy what you played. I kinda went for the easiest option for the controls which I think ended up being pretty serviceable but definitely could see a couple of improvements to it. Thanks again!

Thanks for playing! The enemy can use the other abilities but the definitely prefer nukes for an unknown reason, it was supposed to be randomly picked. The ai overall is pretty dumb tbh.

That's a good strategy, the balance was really hard to do but I'm glad you were able to at least find a use for several different things. I wanted to slow it down and make everything more individually impactful but it was hard to do that and still keep the game moving and fun.

Ah yep thanks for the arrow key thing. Those weren't supposed to do anything lol

Absolutely, it was in our plan initially to have a more graphically interesting game, possibly leaning into the unchosen themes of fungi as an aesthetic but we were very short on time so had to go as simple as possible. Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!

Thank you very much!

Thanks for trying it! It definitely gets pretty hard on higher enemy count but balance was terrible to figure out so I'm glad you were able to beat it in a 1v1. Definitely had some trouble with the side effects theme and ran out of time, but our main focus in implementing the theme was in the Abilities, trying to give them side effects (Which I'll definitely admit didnt turn out well aside from the Nuke), and then in the points. Storing up points actually decreases how quickly you get them but I dont think that was advertised very well

Thank you!

Thank you! I agree, I was not entirely sure how to even implement particles in my engine but I think that would help up the juiciness a bunch

Everything's rushed in a game jam :) It's always great to see how good things turn out despite the rush

Pretty fun and immaculate vibes! Definitely could see this going farther with some more work into it! My biggest gripe was that visually there was a lot going on and initially I had trouble discerning what was important to the game, what things were, etc. Like the drops initially confused me, I didnt realize the graves were a thing either, I love the visuals but making it overall less busy and then adding some more colors back in to highlight important objects would help a ton. Overall though I really really like it!

I never played the original Storm the House but this definitely makes me interested in that genre of games! I liked what you layed down, I thought the difficulty progression was really well done, never felt too hard but definitely felt like it was getting hard. I would have appreciated a little more graphics and such to show my builders and gunmen however not a big deal. I enjoyed it, good job!

Honestly very fun and I enjoyed playing! You put a ton of polish and extra features in that I was not expecting and that was really impressive! I wasnt able to play multiplayer but I'll definitely be finding someone and trying it!

Loved the visuals, thought it was fun to play for a short time! Would definitely be interesting to see it with a little cleaned up movement and some more enemies and such. I enjoyed playing it!

Thank you! Haha I appreciate that, I have some ideas to change it around, might come back to it later after I take a break from it!

I thought it was fun and the atmosphere was fabulous! The sounds, effects, and general lighting and all were really well done and made me feel very much like it was a horror theme. I saw the ties to phasmophobia instantly and it was definitely cool to see it in 2d. I would love to see some more unique takes on it and play into your own take on that base idea since as of know it plays pretty identical, just 2d. Its a really good start! Thank you for actually adding someplace to hide though, phasmophobia hunts always killed me but I was actually able to survive this one!

First off its a really interesting idea and I like the idea behind it. However I did have a fair amount of trouble figuring out what the client wanted and what were good picks. I think if you clarified that it could be a lot of fun! Good job!

really enjoyed playing this! Definitely was very difficult but once I figured out how it worked it had interesting puzzles!

Thank you! Definitely could have done better with telling the player what to do but was short on time lmao

I absolutely loved it! The graphics and aesthetic were perfect and the hints of story and background made it very engaging

I really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun playing it! The ingame coding was very fun and unique!

I really enjoyed the concept and the idea! It was a clever usage of the limitation!

Best game in the jam! I loved it!
