Wow! I played this longer than any of the other entries. Super fun! Props for using  godot. Can't tell, do the upgrades stack or did I just waste a ton of money!?

Developer

Thanks! That means a lot to me, and yeah all upgrades stack, you can be as fast as you want to the point where you go through walls.

Fun concept and a great presentation!

I like the design where it's ye olde CRT black and white but there's also some coloured sprites splashed in ~(へ^^)へ very cute shooting game. IS there a win state? As I went through quite a few waves but there was never a win screen so I was wondering lol

Love the retro CRT screen, the different gun styles you added, and the SFX/music. Great job!

Cool shoot 'em up! Love the retro aesthetics.

Love the screen effect, quite immersive

Pretty fun and immaculate vibes! Definitely could see this going farther with some more work into it! My biggest gripe was that visually there was a lot going on and initially I had trouble discerning what was important to the game, what things were, etc. Like the drops initially confused me, I didnt realize the graves were a thing either, I love the visuals but making it overall less busy and then adding some more colors back in to highlight important objects would help a ton. Overall though I really really like it!

i did't unserstand how to posess a weapon. Your text says right mouse button, but it worked just one time somehow. Do i have to klick anywhere specific?
Anyway, once i was in controll of a weapon the game was really fun! i see so much potential in this entry! maybe add a tutorial for silly people like me :D

Developer

Thanks! The possessing mechanic is actually LEFT mouse button to possess and RIGHT mouse button to unpossess a weapon, I rushed the itch page and didn't realize the mistake, thanks for pointing it out!
