thank you, for the constructive feedback. i'll try to implement it the next time.

no u nice job for also submitting a great game!

:)

ye, that would be great. Not just for me, maybe other people also struggled with getting shadows for sprites.

Thank you!

ohh I think I now also know why the physics were weird for you.

I forgot to use Time.deltaTime stuff, which would have made the physics independent from the framerate. I'll get it next time.

Thank you very much. I appreciate that :)

This is an underrated game, I'm glad I still played it.

I like your take on the theme a lot. the animations convey a clear image. And I like that your not dead, the instant you hit a spike.

My only little critic point (that isn't in other comments already) :

- The (re-)start takes just a little bit too long to feel good.

- Maybe a few tweeks to make a better game feel.

ow thank you c:  I was really unsure about the music but I am so glad you liked it. I'll take a look at the physics thanks for letting me know.

And the character model: neither do I xD

EDIT: wow the music compliment came from you with the sick rythm game with amazing music.

I feel honored

I like the idea and implementation, idk what else to say it's pretty cool how you are stronger on the one side but the enemies are harder as well.

critic points:

- 3 minutes are WAYYYY too long (maybe it isn't for you as a developer, but for everyone else it is (the 3 minutes could be a hard extra mode if you want))

- (not necessary but would be cool to) make the dangerous rocks more clearly visible and dangerous

- other points are already mentioned in already existing comments

skedaddle skadoodle your game is now a noodle

I kinda like the music

and you're not just "maybe?" epic. YOU ARE EPIC just for making a game an submitting it !

the world needs more rythm games and this is a perfect start!

that's actaully a very good proof of concept for a cool puzzle-platformer.

I like the gameidea you came up with.

noice.

hi

ye, you only uploaded a json file of 8000 lines of code?

That's so much work for one week, wow.

I hope you're getting some rest right now.

15 cubes are too much but you know

it already your not a cow.

*mic drop*

thanks for your commitment on the comment

1. thats intended, because they are dreams (still tell me if it is too much tho)

2. it's a kid's room in the background, I guess I should move it to make it more visible.

3. thx      4. thx :)

5. that's a good point (I'll do it next jam)

the on-off-switching blocks in combination with the crumbling ones can create a loop where you have to fall down. But thats beside the point.

I like your gameidea a lot.

and I got a score of 69.

It is very cool to see your motivation to keep working on games, thats great! and for a first game jam, this game is not bad.

It would be less frustrating and a lot more fun, if the character controlling itself was fun, like with good midair movement or air straiving. But that could be a lot for a first jam game.

the visuals are not bad too!

aand I got an insane time wow. (look description)

Thanks! this means a lot to me because it was one aspect I built it around.

If you want to share your time I would be even happier :)

I'm testing some speedrun strats right now and wow he do be zoomin'

I'll post my time as soon as I got a good one.

actually not bad. It's a good proof of concept.

First of all, you made a game and should be proud of this fact alone.

If you enjoyed making this game I hope you will continue, because you'll improve a lot and I want to see that.

That was actually kind of fun. good job!

And the perfect length for a gamejam game

ow, thank you very much :)

On my first thoughts I wished for a checkpoint system, at least after bigger checkmarks, but it was also fun without them because you get better and find new faster ways to complete a section everytime you play. The AI is integrated very well. I like that the level design let's you choose which way you want to go. And it was very funny how the moderator reacted at the end.

As the description already says. I know it's not a good game but I've still learned a lot.

And thanks for the feedback. It helps more than you may think

Since knowing the controls is helpful:

left click to move, pick up and equip from your inventory

right click disequips a selected item

And again:

This game is not good, it was mainly made to gain experience and it was fun

Very helpful feedback. thanks.

I will add them next time.

It is very good to hear what other people think of a game.

thanks for telling me. it helps me a lot improving in future games.

it's not your fault, you didn't miss anything.

thank you for the suggestion to make a controls menu that would be helpful for a lot of people.

next time I will. even after the jam I'm still learning. nice

I talked with Tobi and John and they were fond of the idea of participating in another gamejam.

Thank you a lot for the idea.

We are so happy that you liked our little game.

I hope that many more phenomenal games were submitted, so they can make you smile more.

has sean returned yet?

I'm impressed of how much you packed into this game in only one week.

I liked the boss fights  a lot idk why
