If you are on Windows you can try changing the tablet driver in Preferences to see if it maybe helps. Other than that there are input dynamics settings in the Global Tools panel (top right) which allow tweaking of tablet pen settings.
There is no difference in the code base of Steam and Itch/Github versions of Pixelorama. Even the "paid" version is still open-source software. It's practically just a new way to donate to the project for people who would like to have Pixelorama in their Steam libraries (same approach as Krita).
There is a pattern mode in the bucket tool. I am not sure if that's exactly what you wanted but it does replace a specific colour with a selected pattern.
Is it somehow possible to increase mouse sensitivity in the UV/model views? I have a 4K screen and moving/rotating stuff takes a lot of time. Other than this I'm extremely impressed with this tool and I'm already working on adding it to my workflow. :)
Have you ever heard of any Unreal Engine 4 game running on the PSX? :D It would have to be rewritten from scratch which would take months considering how complicated development is for these old platforms.
You can change some keyboard shortcuts in Edit>Preferences>Shortcuts by selecting a Custom preset. Rebind Pencil tool to any key you want.
You can also change the background look and behaviour in Edit>Preferences>Canvas. Just select Follow Canvas Movement so it behaves like you expected it to behave.
Yes. But so far it was decided that developing Pixelorama as an engine-agnostic standalone app is a priority. If you want a tighter integration with Godot there is "Godot Pixelorama Importer" plugin that will directly import .pxo files to your game project.
You go to Export -> Animation tab and then under the preview there is a selector which allows you to select "All frames as a single file animation". My general advice would be to use it only for smaller sized canvases with lower amount of frames because it will take a lot of time to export. If you want to do a huge animation then rather export frames as multiple files and use some online tool to create a gif from them. https://ezgif.com/maker
This sounds like a Flatpak sandboxing. Flatpak has a feature that it installs every app separately and sets up permissions very strictly so they cannot potentially damage your system. If that's the case you have to add something like "--filesystem=host" when launching Pixelorama. https://docs.flatpak.org/en/latest/sandbox-permissions.html
