Thanks a lot for the advice. I did actually that and got the exact responses you said! I did end up getting some gigs. I feel like I have a nice Resume and am willing to work a lot for free and it's still really hard to find someone who's willing to do this as work. Do you have a place where i should ask beside reddit?

A couple days ago I got fired from my job as an music editor (high tech layoffs) and I do want to stay positive and continue working as a musician, especially in the gaming world, I really love the idea of working on games.
I also found a few projects that I am working on so that's cool, most of them a pro bono though which is fine by me since I love helping out and be a part of a project but I wanted to ask about the future, is there a place, server, website (that maybe I don't know about) that it'll be easier for me to get more projects to work on in the future? I have quite the exp since I've worked as a musician with Artlist and Simply, and also on a few games before, but I feel it'll be a bit harder to find in the next following months. Let me know your thoughts if you can, and sorry if post is not related to the help forum.

Recently I got dropped from my job (because of High tech layoffs, so I figured I should post here.

I'm also quite the gamer and play a lot of games when I have the time so I always wanted to be a part of some game, maybe an AAA game one day :P
