Tax information - waiting for Validation

Hello!

I finished the interview and the validation is pending for quite some time.

I was wondering how much time I should wait? Could  there be an issue? 

I tried contacting support but no response.

I don’t see any issues with your account, please make sure to read the Tax Information page fully before request help from support. From the page:

Your tax information is on file and your account is ready to accept payments. Your tax information must pass validation before you can collect your earnings through a payout. Validation is a one-time process that will happen when you open your first payout request from your dashboard.

You have no active payout request on your account, so your record is sitting pending on file.

Sorry for writing in another post, won't happen again. But now I have the payout set and everything should be in order. How long should I wait?

Possibly there is a confusion with the language used. We only process your tax information for validation if you have sold content through our system using “Collected by itch.io” and have requested a payout. Otherwise, you information is left pending.

how do I reach you regarding an urgent matter? I can only see how to reply to messages here

You can send a support ticket. If you need to make a message on our community help forum then you should create a new topic. Do not reply to admins hijacking other people’s topics.

Really weird. Nobody in support is answering the email for quite some time. I have no idea what to do

You do not have the same problem as this person. Please avoid hijacking other’s topics with your own issue, and instead create a new topic clearly describing the situation you are having so anyone who can help has the information necessary to understand what is going on. Thanks

I see that had contact with someone from our team about updated your tax information due to it now being expired. You will have to wait for the new information you have provided to be validated, and then payouts will resume as normal.
