This is a cute little game.

The art is good, and the sound effects/music complement the game quite well. Though the upgrades don't really change much besides buffing stats, they are very funny and cute. This game is pure vibes, from start to finish.

I will say that hitting obstacles doesn't feel very punishing, and they become especially insignificant once you buff your stats to a certain point. I feel as though they could have been made more frequent, as oftentimes you can simply roll through money without any dodging action.

All around, very impressive for a one-person project. I am unsure if another person was involved, as "One Man Symphony" is credited without any links to the tracks used, but I digress.

This is a cute game!

The like the general theme. The sounds/music chosen compliment the game quite well. That ironmouse sprite is *chefs kiss*, and the game looks good overall. I'm not gonna lie, the "SEGGS!" button gave me a good chuckle.

I will say that the gameplay is a bit lacking, and the upgrades don't really add much to everything, outside of being basic stat buffs.

But, given the timeframe, it is impressive.

Good job devs.

The art was cute. Very impressive that it comprises of the vast majority of the assets in the game, given the short span of the game jam. The final boss was funny, and we all love a Pete cameo. The music that was chosen for this project sets the vibe well.

I would say that the gameplay was a bit mid for me, but it might not be my type of game.

All around, there is quality in final product. Good job devs.

I really enjoy the overall concept of the game. Well executed, all around.

I am absolutely awful at this game (no rhythm andrew), but I am sure than anyone who has a natural sense of rhythm is going to have an absolute blast with it. Though simple on the surface, the combination of the trash-collection-mechanic, and the need to press the space-bar to the beat of the music, adds some appreciable depth to the gameplay.

Beautiful art. Wonderfully done, given the short timeframe of the game jam. The music is nice as well (got to love those chill beats).

This game deserves a spot in the top 20, for sure, given its sheer quality.

First and foremost, the art in this game is beautiful (especially the character sprites)! It amazes me that all this art was completed within the span of 3 days. Cute voice acting as well.

As for the gameplay, it took me far too long to figure out the full extent of the freedom that the player has, in moving the character (maybe this could have been made more clear from the start). This freedom does add some spice to the gameplay, as you are able to perform maneuvers to slow down before an obstacle, and move the mouse very far to make a leap over large puddles.

As others have pointed out, the hitboxes do feel a little funky, on top of the fact that obstacle-hits stack quickly, which, at times, makes for a quick death (some invincibility frames would have been nice in those instances). Maybe this is the game journalist in me, but perhaps a full-reset of the lives would have been nice, whenever the character travels to space.

All around, this game is a gem, and I sincerely wish it makes the top 20.

This is my favorite submission thus far.

The dialogue was witty and funny, the upgrades were creative, and, all around, the game was a blast to play.

Screw Richard, he is such a dick! I took every bit of satisfaction in crushing his dreams with my OP god hacks, supplied to me by the nice, non-suspicious fellow in the white van.

I will say that the dialogue portions of the game could have used some music (royalty-free stuff even), but it was well-written enough to keep me invested.

I like the overall concept of the game. The art is nice as well.

I will say that it is annoying how when you jump near a taller obstacle, it kills you, even if you aren't in the same lane that it is in.

The gameplay is alright. Not my cup of tea.

I do think it is odd that, by default, the music is set to "off".

The game definitely could have made the player aware of the controls. Having to click on the pedals is a bit strange.

Other than that, it's alright.

I will say that some of the content in this game definitely pushes some boundaries, in regard to the first rule.

Fun little game. I enjoy the overall concept.

I will say that the bike is a bit difficult to control, and slow when you have to turn. It is satisfying to go full speed across the map, collecting points, but not so satisfying to have to stop that momentum.

I really enjoyed this one! The music you chose sets the vibe well, and the little suprises in the game are certainly a welcome addition. Lots of personality in the "how to play" section (can confirm that I am allergic to grass).

All around, good game.

P.S.

I did not know about the Dr. Jelly meme up to this point, and I thank you for directing me to that masterpiece.

Fun little game. Simple, but does what it's supposed to.

The gameplay was simple, but that isn't a bad thing. I like the inclusion of bubi in the project (aka THE KING).

Sorry that you uploaded the wrong file. Happens to the best of us.

I feel that the game could have made the control scheme known to the player, in addition to the overall objective.

I like the overall concept. Just needs some tweaks, such as more frequent upgrades, a more diverse set of enemies, etc.

Quirky story. Good art. It was quite the adventure. As a visual novel enjoyer, I appreciate the submission of a visual novel to the game jam.

I will say that there are a lot of files to unpack, so if you wish to play this game, prepare to wait for a little bit.

Good job devs.

I really enjoy the concept of this game! The moveset of each character is very creative (gave me a little chuckle), the enemies are in theme with the cyclothon (very clever, with how they relate to the actual cyclothon), and all around, it's a fun game. I really think you should continue working on this. Would absolutely love a fully polished product.

I will say a few things though. Firstly, the objective of the game could be made more clear (unless you intended for it to be "knowledge-based"). Also, there is a point where you spawn, in the beginning, that you can fall off the map. The music is a bit repetitive, but that's alright.

Amazing work. If game design is your passion, I feel that you should most definitely pursue it. Or, at least, make it a hobby ;)

The little monkeys on their bicycles are sooo cute! Dig the map design as well.

The music you chose for this game adds to the vibes for sure.

It was also stated in the rules that you are supposed to credit for any assets that you use in the game.

Good that you are compiling that asset list.

If it is true that there is AI generated content, that would disqualify this game, based on clearly outlined rules. Report this submission just in case, so that the hosts of the game jam/admins can review it.

Also, if you use free assets, you are supposed to credit those who originally made them. It's a good gesture to credit everyone for their work, if you decide to use it in your game.

I really vibe with the music, and the little hamster guy rolling around in his ball. A bit of a stretch, in regard to the theme, but it's always good to push the limits and think outside the box.

I don't think that the gameplay has very much to offer, but I understand that this was created in a very brief window.

I really dig the art style of this game, and I enjoy the overall direction. The interactions with the NPCs were pretty funny.

I will say that the player moves very slow in this game, making it a bit of a slog to get through. If there are items/buttons that are meant to make the bike go faster, that could have been elaborated on in the beginning.

Neat concept. I like the use of a twitch chat of sorts, in the game. Very creative touch. It is impressive that you rendered so much map geometry, on top of the player model, within the 3 day time span.

I feel that, with further development on mechanics and goals for the game, it could be an absolute banger.

I enjoyed the power up mechanic for the bike. The music is good as well. All around, fun game. Creative mechanics in general.

There is one bug in particular which is somewhat annoying. When you die from the environment, it just freezes the game, rather than putting you back to level select, making it so that you have to refresh the page in order to play again. As a terrible, but stubborn gamer, this ended up making the process of completing the game a bit draining.

Is there a way to progress once you get to the dark basement, near the beginning of the game?

I've tried clicking the arrows, pressing the arrow keys, pressing WASD, and nothing seems to work.

This was a fun game.

I really liked the music. Those were some fine beeps and boops, if I do say so myself.

I also thought it was cool how the road curved, and seems to be 3-dimensional.

I will say that, perhaps, there could have been some direction for what the controls were. You have to click "start", in order to start the game, which does not seem intuitive. Neither does the game tell you that you need to use the arrow keys in order to move the bike.

Simple game, but it was a joy to play. Good job devs.

Based scratch developer

The game does not seem to be able to run. I am getting a "UnityPlayer.dll was not found" error.

I also don't notice a folder or anything of that sort, containing the files, unless it was downloaded somewhere else.
