This was interesting. The campaign levels were too easy and you did not really need to place them very accurately. Good idea, good work.

I'll check yours after work. Mine is here: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2023/rate/2093151
I played the game and killed a few robots, but then it went out of full screen and kick me back to the main menu while there were still many robots alive. Not sure what was the issue, but did not fill like going back to kill all the robots after. It is amazing that you managed to do this project in 2 weeks, I guess I would knot know where to start to achieve such a quality :|
I was a bit confused when the trees were changing randomly as I got closer to them, but then I thought it might be related to the jam theme :). I walked around and clicked on all the terminals, but could not find anything else to do, so I exited the game. Some areas it was possible to get stuck (like in a way you cannot walk out). Good job, initially when it started I really didn't know what to expect.
I just tried it. Initially I thought this was a prank and not a real game :D. I got stuck in the platforms all the time, I could not even go past the first 4 even with the super jump, so I'm confused how could I even get to the level 2. Also the text was cropped in the corners for me and the secret button lead to the game been stuck and needing F4. It looks good, but I find the jump really frustrating :)
Yes, it seems there was also a olg Game & Watch machine called Fire that used this concept but I only knew the old ms-dos game. Thanks for pointing it out, I will try to play the original with some emulator.
And any ratio that goes over 25% is good. Because of the random element of the game, you might end with x / 90-110, and it is pretty challenging to save the bottom row guys as they go much faster :)
Thanks for the kind words
The intro is a bit strange, I got the feeling that it was a cutscene but then it tells me I'm dead so I thought I needed to play it. But then I realized that the game is "after the dead" so I continued with it. It feels like the game is too easy, you could basically run straight the whole level and you would not die. It would be nice to have some music :)
Good job.
I am confused with this game. Initially, when I tried to hit the disk, I would just teleport over it and nothing would happen (maybe my mouse is too sensitive?) Then I was not aware when the other player had scored and I kept playing (it should freeze the disk after one player score to avoid confusions). But considering the theme of the jam, it is very well possible that those 2 are features and not bugs :D
Good job!
I did not understand the game initially before reading the game page. After reading it, I think it is really interesting. This are my main conclusions:
- The graphics are great, I really like the cartoony sandy planet.
- The game concept is cool, it is nice when some of the "Well(s)" spawn "surprises" :D
- It would be nice to have some background music (If there is, I could only hear the sound effects)
- The savegame works for me, after reopening some of the well were there from the previous game.
Good job!
I am so confused! :D I grabbed the initial cube and said "I won" then I touch the wall and it went to some weird state (web build). I wonder what am I supposed to do. The music is nice, but the graphics make me feel I'm still in the menu, they look foggy and I thought they would become clear when the game starts.
