I love the concept! It would be interesting to see where this could go if you kept improving it (like adding enemy variety, more card effects, etc.).
One problem I saw was that when I played a card to get more actions but spent my last action point(s) to use it, it would still end my turn without adding the action points first and letting me continue with my current turn.

So far, I have to say I really like the game!
Beautiful art style, decent story, good characters ♥
That being said I hope what I say next doesn't come across as mean, but about the voice acting...
Don't get me wrong, the voice acting is pretty good in and of itself, but the audio/microphone quality for the recorded voice lines is... not so good. To the point that I turned the volume for the voices down completely.
Maybe you or whoever is doing the voice-acting should invest in a better microphone first. Or potentially (if money is tight and you don't want to record the voice lines twice) do it without voice-acting first, and if the game is released and sells well, invest some of that money in a better microphone and record the voice lines for an update for the game later.
Still a really lovely demo so far ;-)
Not 100% sure what exactly caused it, but while playing the nightmare mode, the funny little face in the wall appeared. I closed the shutter for a moment, and when I opened it again, the game was pretty glitched. Multiple neighbors and DDD members started to overlap, and the textbox either just showed <NULL> or was entirely empty.
Otherwise, great update. That really cranked up the difficulty 😅
Is that the mission where you have to use the milk parlor for the first time and catch the "milk" in a bucket?
If so, I was stuck on that for a while as well. In case you have the bucket placed before the fapets: remove the bucket --> place the fapets --> the game should now prompt you to place the bucket --> place the bucket --> stonks
I haven't tried Free Mode yet, but god damn, if this game's Story Mode isn't a mix of exciting ideas and animations and the worst possible gameplay mechanics ever...
So don't get me wrong: the ideas for the multitude of different creatures, animations, interactions, special scenes, taming methods, and so on and so forth are fantastic (if not a little clunky at times).
But man... you really wanted to make this one big ol' fetch-quest/walking/slow-walking simulator, ey? These are some of the most atrocious game mechanics that would in any other case make me delete the game forever. Starting with the first ... what... half an hour? Hour? of gameplay where you can barely slow-walk anywhere before you learn how to run, it turns into a multitude of fetch-quests over at least half the map and back every time (and hey, that place you have JUST been at? Yeah, go back there and bring something else... ). Mix that with mechanics where you have to carry something heavy that slows you down a lot, lead people or creatures that are incredibly slow (and if you walk too far ahead, either they'll just stop and lose interest or your character forcibly stops and waits) and times where you just have to wait through the same things day after day on repeat without much changing (I'm talking about the god-damned orcs and waiting for days while the quest just says that you have to wait for more days to pass... bruh... ). To top it off, there are things that can absolutely undo your progress since the last save (since the game only saves when you sleep). For example, when you get stuck in a puddle of either cum or Nishy's own piss since, for some reason, that stuff has its own collision that not even the unstuck button can always get you out of. Or an animation that you have to watch bugs out and won't finish, so a quest can't progress (like for focusing... was supposed to watch the Mistress and Horny getting in on, and suddenly, Horny flew off into outer space - or maybe visited the mole people, I'm not entirely sure- leaving behind a bored looking Mistress standing on top of a book that was flipping through its own pages... aaaand that was that. Animation didn't finish, quest didn't proceed, had to go back to title and redo the whole day.)
So don't get me wrong, I do like the game. There is a lot of potential and interesting stuff... but damn, that definitely needs some working on on multiple fronts.
I have bought this game somewhere around a year ago and played it many many times since then. Not only when updates came out. It is, when it comes to NSFW games, one of my absolute favorites. Something about the quality of the animations, the variety of the enemies from human(oid)s over animals to tentacles and monsters, the different ways enemies interact with Syahata, the backgrounds in general, and background animations... something about this game just hits the right spot. It's obvious that a lot of effort goes into it. Some bugs here and there don't really do anything to bring it down, especially since they usually get fixed rather quickly.
I really don't have many suggestions on what to potentially add to it, and I'm sure some of the things I could suggest are potentially already planned for future updates.
What I could think of, though, I'll just put here for consideration:
- different animations for her masturbating depending on how horny she is, similar to how her inviting-animation changes the hornier she gets
- the ability to interact with background characters that are already engaged with enemies. This could be done either by just joining the scene or killing the enemies first and then having fun with the character. Joining could also be restricted by how horny Syahata is. If you want some other use for this aside from just providing some 'fun' for the player, the characters you interact with could potentially drop ammo or health packs (maybe cosmetic items like costumes or something like that should that ever be included in the game)
- more animations with multiple enemies, like the ones with two male or female zombies or two flies. Maybe even including animations with different combinations of enemies (like an animation with two flies and a rat, for example, since in the sewers there are opportunities for this to happen)
- the amount of semen inside Syahata could, at some point, influence what her character looks like - the portrait in the pause menu as well as the character model - in the sense of her looking more and more inflated. Maybe that could even affect her movement and attack speed until the player... uhm ... 'squeezes' some of it out in an extra animation.
So, yeah, I have a whole lot of praise for this game, some minor ideas that are probably not that great and/or viable, and I'm looking forward to where this goes in the future 😁👍
Keep up the good work, JaShinn!
Cheers!
Just realized that: "Sorry for the bad English in the game, but I'm doing my best because I'm Italian and the project is made only by me."
I honestly wouldn't have caught on to the fact you are not a native English speaker. I can't remember ever seeing any glaring mistakes in grammar or weird-sounding phrasings in BH I or the BH II demo so far. Though it's been a while since I played BH I or tried the demo, so maybe I just forgot, which means any mistakes made were not that bad XD
... but listen, if you would like someone to proofread or see if any improvements could be made, you're welcome to give me a holler. I'm not a native English speaker myself, though, so take that with a grain of salt. But I still wanted to offer the help ;-)
Who tf would say something like that?! You are creating these games FOR FREE in your spare time whilst having a job, friends, and family and needing some downtime in between. Anyone who thinks that shaking games out of your pocket is a quick and easy thing has never tried to program anything and create their own artwork at the same time.
I hope that this certain someone's statement doesn't drag you down too much.
There are more than enough people who are well willing to wait for however long it takes, so you take all the time you need!
You have proven with your first Bunnyhunter that it's worth waiting for since that game was simply amazing, and exciting... and fluffy... and thicc... and bouncy... and... ... uh, what was I talking about? I... uh... I got a little distracted there, hehe ^^"
Oh, yeah! DO!=amazing, so waiting will be worth it, and Bunnyhunter II will rock!
It's finally here! Yes!
So far, a great demo. The gameplay and humor work well XD
I also couldn't find any bugs yet (that were not intended).
The only suggestion I have so far is (probably only due to my own stupidity) to make the highlighting more prominent when you try to use a skill/item on your own team. The amount of times I used something on the wrong team member is embarrassing 😅
There are different ways to look at it. It's fair to say that people could invest the time and go through devlogs and comments to see the current state of a game. But a good number of people also look at the front page to see if it's a work in progress, a demo, a small but basically finished indie game, and so on and so forth. So, the front page should give at least a somewhat concise summary of the game's current state. The blame doesn't lie solely with the devs, but it's equally not right to blame people for not wanting to spend time digging through logs and comments when the front page is - at first glance at least - well-managed and informative. Something simple like "This is an early (or relatively early) alpha build for our game that's still WIP. Here, have a roadmap or a short summary of already implemented systems. Otherwise, look at our latest development logs" would already help increase transparency and give people a 'fair warning' and a gentle nudge to look more into it if they are unsure.
The things currently on the front page don't do that and give off the vibe of a much more complete game. By which, I don't mean to imply it is done purposefully to lure people in or anything along those lines. It was probably done to share this game's goals and ideas. The problem is it can be very easily misinterpreted as intent and drive people away. Which I would like to prevent because I think this game could be great. Putting just a little more information and transparency on the front page can reduce that risk and show that the developers care about clear communication with this game's (potential) buyers and the people who follow their progress. Yes, it's a little extra work to put in, but it gives off a better feeling and can help increase trust in this project and the devs.
You have full control over the price, right? I mean, you can change the price of the game whenever you want? Just make it a $7.99 game, and when you reach the state that it's fully done, or at least far enough on its way to deserve a $19.99 price tag, change it back to that price. This way, there is no in-between when a sale ends.
Ok, I didn't keep track of the constant on-sale status of the game. That's a mistake on my part. But the transparency... I don't know about that, chief. I doubt new people dig through the past development logs to figure out what the current status of the game is. So, the most prevalent source of information is the game's main page. And that gives off the vibe of a more complete game with intricate systems and a lot more variety than there actually is at this point in time.
I know it's probably dumb of me - who has bought this game over a year ago and is looking forward to it's completion in the future - to make such a fuss about it, but trying to look at it from the perspective of someone who just stumbles across it, it feels... insincere (I know it's not meant to be).
And yes, it's just a lack of adequate adaption of the main page.
And yes, new people could try to dig deeper into the actual, current state of the game.
But not everyone does this, especially when they believe that the main page is giving them a summary of the current state of the game.
A lot of things have changed since the initial upload of this game here.
What started with simple models, a small map, and some monster girls running around turned into... well, at first a more defined map, some more models, as well as some interactable, joinable sex scenes and the possibility to take pictures.
... and from there nothing really changed for a long time.
Mhh, that's not true. The whole system of taking pictures got worse, with images/sex scenes being an absolutely blurry mess and monster girls not getting recognized in the pictures.
After that, the ability to join the sex scenes vanished.
Updates were made, big speeches about how they want to change their whole system and goals and stuff, but improvements... not noteworthy, really.
This was going on for quite a while until the newest update from just a day ago! Because now... we have a bigger map. Oh, and the pictures are not blurry anymore.
Anything else worth mentioning?
Nah, not really.
Sex scenes still can't be joined. Animations are still rather basic. Models look a little better, though (probably the shaders, yay!).
And while monster girls and activities get finally recognized again in the pictures... that's janky as hell. It's not uncommon to stand directly next to a monster girl, getting a nice, clear front shot with the little yellow rectangle indicating that the girl in the picture got recognized... nope, nothing, bad picture, nothing gets recognized at all. Not that it would matter because the game still has nothing in it that makes it worth playing.
And I understand that when you decide in the middle of a project to basically change everything about the system and redo it all, that takes time... but looking at the main game page here I see a lot of window dressing.
Let's take a look:
- Explore five fully realized environments, teeming with Monster Girls.
(if those are fully realized, that is very sad and empty-looking with not many girls wandering around and a barebone variety of what, five, six, maybe seven different species?)
- A full complement of voice acting by industry professionals.
(aside from some noises the girls make, there is nothing; not even the introduction when "Professor Frida" is talking to the player character has any voice lines)
- Explore many unique locations and capture/catalog the wildlife on display.
(unique and rather empty, yes; and cataloging the wildlife might be a tad difficult with the currently inadequate recognition system of the camera)
- Bond with the Monster Girls in their unique environments, and experience new sensations!
(the sensation of being bored? that's not new)
- Unlock special photography sessions with all the Monster Girls, and capture perfect pinups!
(uh, when is that supposed to happen? Haven't seen anything that would even imply this is part of the game)
If these are your future goals, give the people visiting this site an adequate idea of what's actually really in the game and declare those things as goals. If I would buy this game here for its original price of $ 20 and see the sorry state it's in, I'd be pretty p***ed. (EDIT: I didn't realize the on-sale status of this game is a permanent thing so far)
I'm not saying you are not working on it. And I'm not saying that I can't see or don't believe that the finished game will be potentially awesome as hell.
But right now?
This simply feels like bad planning or, rather, bad handling of a project, as well as bad communication with the people who bought it or would potentially buy it. At this point in time, $20 is a rip-off, and people who only see what's advertised here on the front page walk into it blindly.
I put together a little something for people who have trouble figuring out all the characters who can initiate a sex animation and the commands needed for each character. Have fun ;-)
Commands List
*sigh* I can understand that. Developing a game is definitely not an easy task. And I apologize for my rather harsh tone in my initial comment, which I edited to be a little more factual and less hotheaded. Kudos to you for remaining so levelheaded ^^"
Still, I don't feel like the price is adequate at this point - not that it matters to me after all this time.
And yes, of course I'll stick around to see where this goes. I'm curious about the final game, after all.
Downloaded the latest version and the game is... kind of messy.
Which can probably be expected in an early development state such as this. So for anyone who is new here, be aware of the following:
- no option to toggle between first and third person (third person only for now which leaves you with somewhat of a semi-blurry character taking up part of your view)
- stealth/sneaking system doesn't really work so far, or not well at least
- the mechanic to adjust focus manually is either not working at all or just really really bad at this point in time (or I'm too dumb)
- autofocus takes some time, which is fine since it is a mechanism by the creators to prevent players from just running around no-scoping monster-girls... but during sex scenes the autofocus is... yikes; unless you look at the scene at just the right angle, it's extremely blurry
- monster-girls and their actions in the photo don't get recognized; no matter what, quality is always F; so no way of doing quests/bounties like snapping a picture of a fleeing bun-bun
The general idea is great, the graphics are okay, the animations are okay-ish, but anything else still needs a lot of work. At this moment in time, the game feels not worth the $20 it usually costs nor the $15 it costs while it's on sale unless you feel really passionate about supporting the developers.
