Hi everyone! I have been really trying to improve my pixel art lately so I decided to make some asset packs and do some documentation on my process. I really enjoy making game assets :D It's sooooo fun!

Do you take progress shots too and evaluate your process too? How did you improve your animation? I am trying to get better at animating sprites.. Did you find anything that has helped you?  If you also make pixel art for games: how do you test your sprites? I have been using GameMaker and some people have been recommending godot over it. Should I change to godot or something else?

Wow many questions I have... @_@ Thank you everyone! <3 <3 <3

You've been doing this for some time I see, this is pretty awesome work.

You've got some pretty cool work, Lavender!

I was taking a peek at it and it seems like you're quite experienced, like DioShiba said. Very nice waterfall (I know how hard you worked on it, I feel you, the struggle is real T-T), trees, and rockface; They all look like they belong in a game already!

I use Gamemaker personally, but I've heard that Godot is easier. Guess it just depends on how quickly you want to pick it up, or if one engine is doing more harm than good. I use Gamemaker's sprite editor for smaller sprites, but I do the rest of my pixel art in Pixel Studio.

I should probably consider doing progress shots more...

Nice tree, the waterfall is a bit too neat on the sides for my taste.

I always make copies of each stage and then edit copy so I always can view process of creation. Sometimes I delete copies but I can watch through process ;)
