Thanks for playing! We were down to the wire with adjustments and balance changes. We plan to update the road texture, collisions, spawning mechanics, and give the background parallax scrolling after the Jam and judging period is over.

Now thats what I call polish.

That Akira slide was, no pun intended, sick as hell

Wow! Nice audio, great models and shaders. Really uniform project. love the high score feature.

I really like the original mechanic of running over enemies to damage them, but its hard to tell if its working because there's no indicator. I also felt a little boxed in by the invisible walls, but overall strong design.

If it makes you feel better, I played it twice to get both endings, but probably wouldn't have done that for 8 unless there was a checkpoint system.

I'm on firefox. Tried a few times yesterday, before reshuffling my queue.

EDIT: It loaded fully for me today! wow, this is kinda hard.

Glad you enjoyed it!

The best parts of the art style are thanks to KunstSchmid, who you can find here on Itch. He has an indie company with his friends, give him a follow if you like our backgrounds/ models/ monkey sprites.

Yeah, we tried to limit how often they would show up, but really we'd just be depriving this world of our (legally distinct) "Sweetrolls"

Thank you for the comment!

Alll valid concerns. We didn't have anyone in a dedicated audio role, so our coders S.Plush and SaintKon worked to implement the audio files, which hadn't been equalized to a consistent volume. And those collisions certainly got a bit messed up by the hitboxes. Thanks for the input!

The controls are a bit funky, but the art is really good, and i love the upgrade system.

For some reason, this one wont load for me.

Yeah a little fast forward feature and a volume slider would make this great!

Charming is the best way to put it. Couldnt help but smile at those "Nyooom!"s

LMAO I just saw the Comment on "Oug?". Good fun, wish it was longer.

Dude I was gonna comment the same thing, 7 seconds is wild!

This is my favorite one so far. The art style is perfect, and consistent. The gameplay fun and challenging!

Does HypeHype really require me to make an account to play?

Challenging! The Retro style feels really genuine and I like how all the levels are randomly generated. Feels fun to try and speed through as fast as possible. I did get caught behind the walls a few times though.

I spent way too long Domain Expanding an endless amount of drag chutes and blue shells on the other racers.

Can't play it just from the downloaded executable. Not sure why.

Edit: oh! Is this just a Godot project file? I dont have Godot installed.

Edit2: Yeah, this one is missing a pack file unfortunately.

Thanks, that'll let me see all the characters pretty quickly!

I really like the Gacha mechanics, very creative! Got any cheat codes for unlimited money?

Submitted by myself, SaintKon, S.Plush, and KunstSchmid
