Ah… What is the error message? If it’s D3D device being lost, then it’s an issue with the GPU drivers (dGPU not properly connected, or intel integrated graphics need to be updated 💀)

Really liked the funny voiceover - it worked perfectly ;) The placeholder textures really enhanced the experience and the game itself was very fun to play. I liked the different types of 'mystery' objects, although their distribution could be slightly weighted (I felt I was getting far more coin runners than coins). Really good use of the modifier (and the turtles getting thrown in the air was really entertaining haha). Also, I'd say that the concentration of turtles could probably be increased slightly in order to make it a bit more challenging. Great job!

That was an absolute roller coaster!

First up, the creepy factor of this game was incredible. I really liked the progression of the character models and the map, from normal to malformed - it was very effective. The scrawled text was a very nice touch, and made it *chefs kiss*

Sound was used very well, and really immersed me in the game (As far as you can in a 2d platformer where turtle's talk). It was simple, but worked really well in the way you'd applied it.

Next, the gameplay was very fun and I really enjoyed the process of trying to find the 2nd ending, after getting the false ending. Only thing you could've improved on would probably having a slightly more interesting map, and more endings - but given the limited time and the theme of the jam, the simplicity of the map design did build on the creepy factor very effectively.

I'll add some more stuff to this comment if I can think it up, but overall, very well done - this is an excellent submission and even though you made it in only 3 out of 10 days, it is definitely a strong contender imo!

Thanks! The lighting was a rather prevalent issue throughout development, because I both wanted to get a spooky dark theme yet still be able to navigate - obviously that did not work xD. I will try to spice up the lighting in future updates, using directional & sky lights to a larger extent. Thanks for playing the game!

Thanks for the feedback - it probably could've done with a few additional maps and more interesting theming for each of the mazes, to make it more engaging (as I was planning initially, but ran out of time). I have nothing to say about the UI - I agree it was atrocious, and definitely needs a rework at some point. Just want to ask if the tutorial covered the game mechanics well enough? I feel I could've added a couple more lines in to make it a better introduction to the game :/

Thanks again!

Hey, I think that's because I have very little experience in optimisation, and it spawns lots of instances of actors at the beginning, with lots of vector maths for figuring out the location, so it lags significantly. Does it get better a few seconds after the map loads? If it doesn't, then I have no clue why it's doing it 🤣. I'll try and do some optimisation and file-size reduction to it later though

I really enjoyed playing this game! Felt very fun, and kept me hooked between each song, rather than dropping off as the game gets lengthier. Great job!

Thanks, Appreciate it! Could you please point out what is wrong with the camera so I can try and fix it in another update? Thanks again

Thanks for the feedback! I actually did implement a hidden feature that I forgot to document in the tutorial, because it was a last minute modification, that lets you slow down time (by holding T), allowing for more precision in your jumps. Do you think a double or triple jump would help with making it more smooth? I'll start designing a mantling mechanism asap then. Thx again.

Hi, yeah, this is my first time working on a parkour game, and I had no clue how to make it feel more natural. How do you feel I could improve on it? Would some kind of mantling system help?  Sorry about the file size, I didn't manage to get enough time to filter out the unused files, but I'll do that soon and update the game!

Loved it! Quite difficult, but very enjoyable!
