Hello,

we really would appreciate if you can make a small gameplay and give us some feedbacks about our game for android.

Don't hesitate to contact me for more information

We finally managed to have a beta of our game, but our skills in ASO and marketing are really close to zero.

We are trying to get some help here. We need a person who help us to construct our social networks around the game and improves visibility overall so people can know about our existance.

Thank you!

Hello,

we are struggling to get downloads for gathering data and improving the onboarding experience. I would like to request some feedback about the beginning of the game. We are also testing the name of the game because it's very hard to find us in the store.

So, if you don't mind, would you download the game, give us some feedback, and, if possible, leave a rating?

That's great. Point 3 has the same issue: how to get visits?

I think al the developers are short in the same subject: PR and marketing. We more or less know how to do what we want to do, but we all lack of what it is required to spread the voice.

We are trying to open discussions in many fronts. Still, not much sucess. Any tip is welcome as well :D

Hello, I tried the game for a little bit. My profile is of an expert player of 2D platformers and above average in 3D.

Here is my bit of advice:

  • Add a shadow to the feet of the character. Don't think in art terms but in gameplay: any platformer requires mandatorily know where you are going to land.
  • Moving platforms should move you too if you are stepping on them.
  • I agree with the problem of the camera that Gelgavish said. It's hard to undestand where the character is going to move.
  • Character feels floaty.
  • I got stuck in a wall due to a bad jump. I had to move in a different direction for it to start falling.

My advice is to place your efforts in the collisions for now. The character doesn't slide down hills, doesn't follow the physics of the platforms and gets stuck on the walls. By doing all this and having the shadow to help the players to position themselves in the 3D space, it will improve a lot, trust me ;)

We made some playtests. It's an amazing experience, but it doesn't compare to a beta launch. Playtests are very useful to see how players react to the game and if they behave as intended or something is miscommunicated.

But it still doesn't compare to beta. Beta allows for big data analysis, but in order to achieve that, you need a volume of downloads or the data won't be reliable.

This is our biggest problem right now. We need data from our users but we cannot get the desired bulk of downloads.

Hello, we are a couple of game designers who decided in their spare time to make an indie game. We really wanted to make a console game but, since it's a very heavy work and we need a job to sustain us and our daughter, so we decided to go for something we know how to do: a free 2 play game.

We present you ARCHEONIMALS - TAP DIG COLLECT, a game about digging treasures using clicker mechanics and powerful cute creatures that can blast through the rock.

https://pickingpies.itch.io/archeonimals-tap-dig-collect

The mechanics are quite simple: tap on groups of gems to collect them. If you collect them next to a ground tile, you will dig it up. Also, the gems of the same color as your archeonimal will fill their power bar. The ground is filled with different treasures that you can then donate to the museum to obtain new rewards, including eggs to obtain new Archeonimals.

Features:

  • Endless game: you can dig up as much as you can with your moveset
  • Every 6 hours, new levels
  • No energy system: you can replay all thelevels as many times as you want to try to reach new depths
  • 28 different Archeonimals, and more that will come in the future. Can you get them all?
  • Improve your Archeonimals by giving them berries for temporary boosts, or emblems for permanent boosts.
  • Obtain final gadgets to blast through the levels
  • Use ingots to improve your gadgets and shovels
  • Do you have an excess of relics? You can use them in the daily bingo
  • Did you find tons of garbage? Exchange them for useful prices in the Garbage collector, every Wednesday
  • The batty bank rewards the most engaged players with an awesome offer that improves the more you play
  • 7 different locations, each one with their own hazards buried among unique treasures
  • The Market restocks everyday.
  • Daily events

After all this hard work, we would like to build a community around the game. So we are really open for questions and feedback. Don't hesitate to talk here or come to our Twitter account for giving us some feedback. We are really starting so anything you can do for us will be really appreciated, even if it's just a small comment for improvements :)

Hello, I am having an android game and I would like to post it in itch.io

My problem is that I don't know if I am breaking any rules for making an android only game since I did not see any mention about it in any ruleset. Right now I don't have the time or the tools to make a port for web in a short ammount of time due to library incompatibilities. So I was wondering if I can submit the game as an "external download" pointing to the google play store, or maybe I should just upload the APK.
