oh wait a minute, I maybe did not understand one thing. The boost is only working on the current roll and if you roll it, it bring nothing?

In my first run I understood that the boost was for all roll, so I boost myself and then I heal and attack

Solid presentation, nice music. It lack a little bit of something to be more strategic.

Right now I am 84% (5 on 6) sure of what will be my next roll as I put all face with same choice except one. More constraint would be better I think.

But overall a very nice entry, well done!

Love the idea!

Really good POC, I can totally see this kind of battle in a full game!

Mecha+CRT effect= top game

Really clever use of dice, it gave player strong choice to make and big influence, which is not so easy with dice and luck in the way.

Love it!

Amazing entry with a lot of depth in its mechanic. What a good idea to put an attack depending of the dice face AND an attack with your dice throw! And around that put mechanic that encourage play far away from the dice (electric, dice return) and mechanic that encourage play near the dice (freeze and explosion which allow to take the dice back if your quick enough).

Just amazing work around the time and your initial idea

Exactly same opinion here, I think it's too chaotic for its own good and so click spam work too much.

But a really solid entry nevertheless.

(Sorry to  use your commentary I don't want to repeat all what you said perfectly :p)

Ergonomy is not very good (Enter to go next dice, Too much color to remember, dice are sometime jumping sometime rolling).

But besides that, it is a good mini golf game with great presentation and music.

Very nice voxel engine and good subject (mecha is life) but the game fall a little bit flat in its mechanic.

If my jump dice roll is too slow I cannot make the next jump and the player cant do anything about that :(.

A good start for a game but it need more polish and balance.

Well done though!

Nice game with really good presentation. The gameplay was a bit too "cinematic platformer" and too fast for me. I die a lot and too fast to really improve on next round.

Room are a little repetitive too, do you use all Pico-8 Map space?

Really interesting game with nice mechanics

Some feedback :

-enemy should come from everywhere and circle the player so he cannot always circle strafe.

-I should have prefer to reload with space button, more ergonomic as it is a main mechanic (i always loose cause i was looking for the "r" key on my keyboard :(

-Enemy should shoot bullet too (slow and big bullet)

I really enjoy playing it though! Good job!

it could be a good "one-button" mobile game.

It lacks maybe some modifier but overall a little enjoyable game. Good job!

I love the low resolution, it add a lot personality to the game.

It remind me Super Monkey Ball in a good way.

Tell me the truth : do you beat level 3 the one with the big jump and small corridor reception)? I try it a LOT and didn't succeed :'(

Really good mechanic and design!Healing is a bit too much and it may be not well balanced but well I enjoyed it

I just ended making back and forth movement waiting for the good dice roll.

It needs other mechanic to spice up thing a little and make this kind of strategy not viable

So cool! Interesting mechanic and good level design. The control is a little bit "off" and need refinement but still a very enjoyable game.

Some feedback : it is a bit hard to know exactly how many jump we have, I suggest to always display total number of dice in black and to color each spot in red or something to know how many jump we still have.

(and music is so nice too !)

I understand the mechanic with the wall that inverse the dice and so you can get a hole in zero with a good shot, but ah! it is hard! It need more level to dig this mechanic and enjoy the game a little more

I did not understand anything but I would like to!

It seems that I need to put correct dice according to character will but I don't understand if I do thing correctly or not and what the dice mean :(

Love the idea to have several character in a wario ware game.

But right now there is some design problem and some untested case that prevent me from fully enjoying my time with the game, for example you cannot finish the multiplication level with the car or some platform level seems impossible with the slug.

But once all of this will be corrected, the game will be nice for sure!

is it Guybrush Threepwood at the beginning ?

The boat physic add up a lot and make the game quite unique

Thank you!

Thank you!

Thank you for playing!

Thank for your feedback : next time I will make a in game tutorial for sure!

Happened to me during development more time than you can think of :(

Thank you for playing!

Thank you a lot!

Thank you for your feedback!

Several people struggle to understand all the UI directly and the little tutorial/instruction on the page didn't help.Next time I will do an in game tutorial for sure!

The effect of each card appear on top of the screen when you hover the card. Each [  ] on the instruction are a receptacle for a dice.

You cannot play the dice twice a turn, when you play a dice it disappear. So each turn you have 4 dice to spend on any card you want.

Thank you!

I like the simple visual and the stealth mechanic, but It miss a little something to make the gameplay interesting. Right now I just wait in a safe spot for the enemy to pass and I cross my finger to have a good dice roll when the way is clear.

idea : make the dice roll loud so the guard can hear you if you reroll too close from them ?

The idea of reload bullet depending on the dice roll is really interesting!

Now the control and the design not help to make it appealing

As already said by the previous commentary :

physics need to be improved, and I will be more extreme : don't do  jump button or even movement button if it is not necessary (or already said meaningful).

When I played, I only use reload and fire :p

An idea : If the game put the character at the center of the screen, static, and made enemies appeared from the left and the right, the player would have more option and more decision to make without creating you more work to be done.

But as already said (yes i repeat a lot :p) good job for finishing something, and good job for having one good design idea to work with.

PICO-8 is a lot more "direct" and straightforward and I love that. You can go on the PICO-8 website and  I think you can look at any cartridge there to have an idea about the difficulty of the code aspect (there is a little link/button at each cartridge which will show the code).

And yes, the double attack card was intentional to not make the game extra difficult, but now it is maybe too easy :/

edit : and thank you by the way!

Mission done. My job is complete here.

I really enjoy it a LOT more when I know that I can disable enemy. The reward to disable one and avoid an attack at the last second is awesome!

Good job!

Ok I go back to the game with this information. I need to beat this minute!

Sokoban + dice + arithmetic operation ? My brain is melting and I am level 2 :'(

Love the dice animation.

I love that since the dice operator is only 3 different faces repeat 2 times at opposite face, I could predict exactly what will be the next face with my move.

Maybe do more easy level at the beginning for people like me :p

Is it possible to attack? I would like to attack, there is so much dice and I couldn't go over 1 minute :(

complicated to understand, but when I did, I like what I played

Art style really good (I love the music).

But I didn't understand entirely why I was loosing and how it work (I loose a lot :( )

Really fun though

Really good execution of a simple but interesting idea. Your puzzles are enjoyable and rewarding when resolve them !

One of the best game I played for the moment!

Love the mechanic, and the presentation (except sound of course :( )

My favorite moment was when I shot an arrow and I was thinking "mmh would be cool if the arrow continue and kill the other monster behind". So rewarding!

Visually really good looking, music is really missing when the design is sooo good.

And the game and its mechanic are also really good. Love all the decision the game push me to make and all the strategy it allow me.

Really good game
