Wonderful and fun presentation with a great execution of a simple idea! Tons of fun! Really loved it! 😁😍

Really neat concept and presentation! Controls however were confusing and difficult.

I had a lot of fun with this! Really like the concept, but controlling the platforms is a little janky at times. Overall though really good 😊

The prototype is extremely under-baked. I wanted to tutorialize how the basic play controls and block types worked with the first few levels, but ran out of time. Thanks for your feedback!

I really liked the overall presentation of the game. It felt like a complete and polished min game. Great work!

Cool presentation and simple fun concept! Only major issue is the need for a clear visual indicator to telegraph to the player they're charging their jump.

Music, sound and pixel art presentation was fantastic! I really loved the comic book panel layout in telling the basic story! 👍 A really fun mini game!!

I really like the use of the limitation with constant movement keeping your body temp high, but unfortunately holding down both the Move keys and Dash key at the same time didn't always respond.

The Dash key right next to the Move keys made it awkward and unnatural to control too. I would have mapped the Move keys to the Arrow keys too and the Dash key to Shift as well.  That way movement could be on one hand and jump and dash on the other.

What a cute and fun game! Nice work 🙂

Great collection of fun mini games! I really enjoyed both the elegant and simple presentation and play of the games. Nice use of the theme and limitation too. Congrats!

The game concept is great! I had a lot of fun playing what I could 😄

Only problem was some of the little peeps would get stuck in the ground by moving platforms, and then I couldn't progress to the next level.

The color scheme and pixel art are on point. I like the simple in-game control tutorials and the head throwing mechanic is a lot of fun!! However, I didn't even realize there was a checkpoint system until I read some of the other peoples comments.  Why not a similar visual cue like the controls at the checkpoint?  Also, the instant death if you're hit without your head got old really fast and flatlined the fun for me.

Better telegraphing to the player what's happening and maybe less of a "get good" difficulty would have motivated me to keep playing. I'm down for a hard game but when it kills the fun it's over for me ☹️

I'll probably go back at some point to play again because I see a good game there. Really great job! 😃

Love the aesthetics and feel of the game, and the switching between alternate worlds/dimensions is really sweet! It drew me in wondering who I am, and I wanted to figure things out and keep progressing. Unfortunately I died on some spikes and got stuck their. I tried for a few minutes to get the character to hurl away from the spikes, but it kept changing directions.

Overall nice work!!

I removed the second screenshot and updated the page. The ability to the escape the first part of the room does not work. I apologize for the confusion. Poor judgement on my part 😩  You can check out the updated page information with  some hidden *possible spoiler* mock-up screenshots too. I plan to upload a properly working prototype once voting is over.

I removed the second screenshot and updated the page to more properly inform the state of this prototype. That was poor judgement on my part. I apologize. Sleep derivation didn't help either 🤪

The first part of the room is a bit crazy in it's current state, but the ability to escape that trap is simple if I had gotten the second part of the room finished in time. Sorry for the harsh and frustrating experience. Once voting is over I plan to upload an update. Hope you'll come back to check it out!

I really love the style and look to this game! Would love to see where you take it. I've got some feedback...

  • Using the mouse feels a bit unnatural in it's current state. The box placement could be done with WASD, as well as taping the box
  • I would add a tape and scan symbol to or above the status pop-up
  •  When going to the loading bay without a valid box I can't just simply walk away. I finally realized I must press the X key to move again. I'm guessing this is a design choice, but I naturally wanted to walk away when I realized my mistake to correct it. I totally experienced it as a game breaking bug.

Overall, really cool concept and I want to play more!! 😃

This was a really interesting idea! I would have loved to see some feedback movement in the hands when acting on the asteroids.

Not sure what OS you built on. I'm on Linux and had to turn on the game file's executable flag. That might be a Godot 4.x issue.

I totally forgot about the "q" key in this build. I did put in a ticket to upload a bug fix but never got a response. You were suppose to loose a heart anytime you failed to clean a load of laundry.

I really like this! It's got this great kind of kids British cut-out paper animation feel to it. A lot of fun! A clear simple premise executed really well 😁

Thanks for your feedback! I updated the page with Controls info. and more, and also created a bug fix based on your feedback. I requested permission to upload the bug fixed but never got a reply.

Thanks!

I had planned to have at least two more modes. All three modes would have had Easy, Medium and Hard levels. A nice handful for a prototype. And the main scoring systems was to complete levels to earn bills, then use those bills in the change machine to have coins to keep running the laundry machines, and so on. I didn't get that stuff working in time though.

This game is insanely adorable and so cute!! 😻 Love the look and feel to it! The cat puns are fur-rific! 😜

I would add little order icons above the customers. I loose track of things too easily, causing confusion more than adding challenge, and it kills the game play for me.

Hope you keep working on this. It's my top fav game so far!!!

Concept is great! I really enjoyed the graphics, music and game play, but the controls made it unnecessarily frustrating to play. Like a waaaaaayyyyy overly sensitive mouse setting.

Hope you keep working on it. Would love to play a more fine tuned version!!

Playing with a controller worked way better. Dash never worked and Run was mapped to X for some reason. 🤪 I seemed to eat it way to easy, but maybe you were going for a Super Meat Boy brutality. All-in-all pretty fun and I like the concept! 😀

I absolutely LOVED THIS!!! Wish there were some sound effects and animation when rows cleared. Such a neat take on Tetris 😍

I like the music and graphics! Going full-screen basically exposes the entire level. It really confused me at first, but then I realized what was happening.

I agree with others about unclear controls and no interaction feedback. Overall, good start!
