I removed the second screenshot and updated the page. The ability to the escape the first part of the room does not work. I apologize for the confusion. Poor judgement on my part 😩  You can check out the updated page information with  some hidden *possible spoiler* mock-up screenshots too. I plan to upload a properly working prototype once voting is over.

I removed the second screenshot and updated the page to more properly inform the state of this prototype. That was poor judgement on my part. I apologize. Sleep derivation didn't help either 🤪

The first part of the room is a bit crazy in it's current state, but the ability to escape that trap is simple if I had gotten the second part of the room finished in time. Sorry for the harsh and frustrating experience. Once voting is over I plan to upload an update. Hope you'll come back to check it out!

I really love the style and look to this game! Would love to see where you take it. I've got some feedback...

  • Using the mouse feels a bit unnatural in it's current state. The box placement could be done with WASD, as well as taping the box
  • I would add a tape and scan symbol to or above the status pop-up
  •  When going to the loading bay without a valid box I can't just simply walk away. I finally realized I must press the X key to move again. I'm guessing this is a design choice, but I naturally wanted to walk away when I realized my mistake to correct it. I totally experienced it as a game breaking bug.

Overall, really cool concept and I want to play more!! 😃

This was a really interesting idea! I would have loved to see some feedback movement in the hands when acting on the asteroids.

Not sure what OS you built on. I'm on Linux and had to turn on the game file's executable flag. That might be a Godot 4.x issue.

I totally forgot about the "q" key in this build. I did put in a ticket to upload a bug fix but never got a response. You were suppose to loose a heart anytime you failed to clean a load of laundry.

I really like this! It's got this great kind of kids British cut-out paper animation feel to it. A lot of fun! A clear simple premise executed really well 😁

Thanks for your feedback! I updated the page with Controls info. and more, and also created a bug fix based on your feedback. I requested permission to upload the bug fixed but never got a reply.

Thanks!

I had planned to have at least two more modes. All three modes would have had Easy, Medium and Hard levels. A nice handful for a prototype. And the main scoring systems was to complete levels to earn bills, then use those bills in the change machine to have coins to keep running the laundry machines, and so on. I didn't get that stuff working in time though.

This game is insanely adorable and so cute!! 😻 Love the look and feel to it! The cat puns are fur-rific! 😜

I would add little order icons above the customers. I loose track of things too easily, causing confusion more than adding challenge, and it kills the game play for me.

Hope you keep working on this. It's my top fav game so far!!!

Concept is great! I really enjoyed the graphics, music and game play, but the controls made it unnecessarily frustrating to play. Like a waaaaaayyyyy overly sensitive mouse setting.

Hope you keep working on it. Would love to play a more fine tuned version!!

Playing with a controller worked way better. Dash never worked and Run was mapped to X for some reason. 🤪 I seemed to eat it way to easy, but maybe you were going for a Super Meat Boy brutality. All-in-all pretty fun and I like the concept! 😀

I absolutely LOVED THIS!!! Wish there were some sound effects and animation when rows cleared. Such a neat take on Tetris 😍

I like the music and graphics! Going full-screen basically exposes the entire level. It really confused me at first, but then I realized what was happening.

I agree with others about unclear controls and no interaction feedback. Overall, good start!
