God damn, masterpiece! Really solid for the 7 hours dev time.

It really felt like a game you would get on a like.. "27 puzzle games in one" for the original game boy or game boy color.

Sorry if that sounds negative, I mean it in a hugely positive way =D

Got a score of 106, really pleased with that one =)

I'm sure if it had a leaderboard you would easily be in first place =D

The bow sort of turned out to just be a rest one turn in the same spot mechanic. At first I thought that you would choose the bow and then press a direction, but that didn't work out great with the counter because it would take slightly longer time to have to do two actions and I wouldn't want to pause the timer.

Oh yeah, the bow is pretty much pointless as a weapon, it just became a method of skipping a turn while staying in the same place =D

Gonna give your game a shot shortly =)

Thanks! I tried yours as well, really good job. Never managed to last more than 15 seconds though, maybe a bit too high spawn rate =D

Dang, good job =)

Would've been awesome if there was a button to make the move immediately instead of having to wait the 4 beeps

Hi there, I just added your name to the credits screen in my game. Sorry about that, I had forgotten you until now =(

I've used your assets for quite a lot, you can see a few of them in the screenshots of the steam page, the strange stone plates with circles on them acts as fast travel teleporters for instance =)

Thank you very much for the asset pack! I hope you'll publish more in the future!

Here's the link to the game if you are interested:

Hiya, I will be using some of your tiles in the sequel to my game, Adventure of Rikka - The Cursed Kingdom.

There's no licensing information, am I free to modify and use them as I want? I will add your name to the credits.

Hi there, I just noticed that I'm using your the houses from your "village top down" pack in my game without crediting you! Very sorry about that, I'm currently on vacation but I'll patch the game to add your name in there with a link to your instagram as soon as I get back home in a few weeks!

The game is called Adventure of Rikka - The Cursed Kingdom, I'm just using the houses in one area, they are visible in the trailer but not in any screenshots =)

Thanks for the asset packs! I will probably use a few more of them for the next game.

Dang, nice update, the new dungeon tiles (the red ones) looks awesome!

I'll definitely use those in my next game! I'm currently using the first dungeon tiles for the second dungeon in my game called Adventure of Rikka - The Cursed Kingdom.

Oooh, so you are that rob! You are officially in the game now, I updated the game 6 hours after you wrote that and you made the dialog ;)

You are not the only one who missed the lever, I saw two people streaming the game, and one of them died about 30 times just trying over and over again to shoot and attack the boar until they made it =D

I will implement the take damage and death sprite of the ocunid as well, right now it's just the blinking to take damage for everything and I just have a lazy poof effect for the death of any enemy (except bosses).

2.5 months until release, working hard! Good luck with the bug finding in your character asset =D

Oh wow thank you so much for the kind words!

The game works with keyboard and mouse as well, so you don't need a gamepad for it.

The Ocunid fits quite nicely as a little desert monster =)

Right now they are only in the desert, I think I will add a slightly stronger version with a different color as well. It's 2.5 months until the release but there's quite a lot left for me to do and I don't have a plan, hah =D

It took a loooong time, but the little guy is in the demo! =)

They even made the steam screenshots =D

I've added your name and a link to your profile in the credits page inside the game.

No worries! It looks excellent! By the way, you accidentally saved it as a .rar file instead of a .zip =)
(I wouldn't have noticed but this laptop doesn't have winrar or 7zip).

Don't worry about it, there's no rush for me. Rest and get well. =)

Oh also, is there any chance you could upload the sprites for the angel statue animation? (not as a gif, just a png with each frame) =)

The angel statue is reeally cool. I have no idea how I'm going to implement that in my game, but it's going in!

Hi there,

My name is Rikka/PoorlyDrawnSquid and I'm working on a title called "Adventure of Rikka - The cursed kingdom"

The game has a steam page here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1726390/Adventure_of_Rikka__The_Cursed_Kingdo...

It doesn't have a trailer yet so here's a video of what the game looks like in motion, this is one of the bosses, which is not fully finished, it's lacking proper sounds and a bit of visual effects as well (like taking damage from the spikes).

The animation speed is quite low, most animations are 3 to 4 frames, like moving and attacking, some of the boss animations are a bit longer.

The game is nearing completion but I still need the artwork for additional enemies and 3 more bosses as well. There will also be a need for polishing some of the current art I think.

I'm also hoping that I we can come up with some ideas together of the potential enemies and bosses as I don't really have a clear vision of them =)

The work will be paid, you can be paid either by the hour or per project (enemy, object, boss, animation).

Best regards

Rikka/PoorlyDrawnSquid

Really neat! Loving the pillars

Really nice, thank you for this one =)

Oh those boats are siiick.

I was not planning on having boats in my game but it's sort of a must now =D

Looking forward to it, keep up the good work =)

I also noticed that I had already bought your previous assets and are specifically using the bookshelves from one of your earlier packs =D

Wow, that's really a lot of assets for quite the low cost. Thank you very much for this one =)

I have so many assets for my game but I'm sure I will atleast use bookshelves and stuff from your pack because they are excellent!

I just bought the pack for the chimney smoke pretty much. Looks great! =)

Really neat pack! Thanks for this one =)

I'm not the bragging kind of person, and a horrible marketer =D
The game is quite shitty, or actually, I think the game is alright, but (almost) all of the art is drawn by me, and I'm horrible at drawing, I'm better now but still, not good at all. The graphics are veeery off-putting, still a surprising number of random people has played 20+ hours. =D

Thanks!

I've already made one game from start to finish (released on steam), that took about two years.
So I've not given up in the past and won't for this one either =)

Oh jesus, has it been two years already..

I'm still working on that game, every single day =D

And your enemy is not implemented yet, or actually, it's in the game with all animations and stuff but it doesn't appear anywhere in the game.

Looking forward to another 2025 asset pack release! =)

I have no need for this at all, but god damn, it's the best aseprite file I've ever seen, must have taken you ages to do! Super cool that you are releasing this for free, I donated a couple bucks even though I have no use for it. Keep up the good work!

This looks excellent! =)

Same, really neat pack =)

Super awesome pack, loving all the animations!

Ah, good call, didn't know there was a follow function =D
Thanks again for the pack, super cool stuff

Looks awesome, bought it and looking forward to part 2 and 3!

Nothing fancy? This enemy is so cool! And it will fit perfectly into my game. I paid a few bucks and I will add your name to my game's credits (when it's done).

Should I link to your profile here on itch?
