How long the video is? I think this is the most important piece of info you've left out :D

Thanks, good point

Very cool idea!

I love the animations! Very creative idea with the jump mechanics.

Thank you for playing! From the seventh case onwards it's more complicated, because only one facial feature is different. The differences aren't intentionally too distinct, as you say, so I'm glad I hit the difficulty just right :)

I love that game. Simple and fun! I had way too much fun with the dancing! :D I don't think there is little margin to make error. If you follow the rhytm you will make it. After all you have to bring the A game if you want to win her over ;)

Camera movement is choppy but I appreciate the old school retro feeling. It is moving pixel by pixel at minimum just like the old days. The map is pretty big so there could be more hints in the environment. At the beginning I thought you have to dig and search for the ticket in the ground randomly :D

I played on Chrome so it's not firefox exclusive. Funny minimalistic ending :)

Oh, got it now. It didn't show the interaction symbol and when I was trying it before I must have been outside the area. I like how minimalistic the game is and how you used all of the special skills in the boss fight but after I finished the boss fight (my character froze so i suppose it was end) the ant went to me and screen went black. Don't know it is intentional this "dark" ending. I also encountered this bug where if I jump right before triggering dialogue, the character flies away :D I think you are keeping the y speed in dialogues or something, check that out.

Edit: I now found your comment that explains the dark ending is in fact a bug.

Appreciate it!

Thank you, you guessed it! I was inspired quite a lot with papers please when making this game :)

Maybe I didn’t. How do I get that?

Exactly 😁 Thank you so much, really appreciate that!

Great music, really appreciate the jump buffer and coyotee jump. However I got stuck after I passed the well. The down key should do the "stomping" but does nothing.

Yeah 2-5 are a lot harder :D even found the "wrong way lol" - nice easteregg

Man I really enjoyed the level design and the puzzles you came up with! But at the end of the on/off switch level I mistakenly touched the flame again and had to do all over again. Also some platforms (the stone ones) blends in with the background and some background tiles looks like solid objects. Maybe next time try to distinguish them better! Anyway really love the idea and the game overall and the camera work is neat!

Absolutely love it.

Thanks! It is something like a roguelike 😁

Yeah I got it now, didn’t know about the R key. But I think the game should prevent me from locking one mushroom in the flame.

Thank you for playing!

I have played only sixth and first. I’ll get back to them then!

the mushroom on top got stuck at the blue flame

Fun and very satisfying small casual game. I went straight into the 6th level to see how hard will it gets and made it first try. Hope there was more difficult ones. But very aestheticaly pleasing and the sound design was spot on!

Loved it. But I made one mistake and there is apparently no way to fix that. But still funny and hilarious some of the dialogue options. I enjoyed!

Lovely artstyle and well polished!

Maybe I'm dumb but I got stuck at second level..

I love this. The form swaping was suprising and very cool! Lovely cutscene and story but the end of the forest level was hard as hell. Don't know if the air control are intentionaly tricky but man - good thing you got the checkpoints! :D And thank god I keep trying because when I turned into a spider and learned I can shoot webs - my jaw dropped. And the arachnophobia mode... So funny. Definitelly my favourite of this jam! How did you make the music?

PS: Don't know how the king got there at the end so quickly. Maybe that's why he's the king.

This game fits in well with the detective theme. A cozy autumn theme just because you play as a pumpkin with a smiley face. And that's the end of it. The game is basically just moving a picture of a pumpkin around the screen. I only noticed the magnifying glass after reading the comments. The first time I played I went right to left to investigate and the game ended. This game fills me with a "feeling of ennui". You could show more effort. If it was an hour game jam, I could understand, but two weeks? A little rough.

Thank you! ^^

Really fun game. But in second area holding the spacebar does not work - don't know if that is intentional to make the jumps harder but it got me confused from the beginning. Also some items are not exactly on the road so I thought it is a background item. In that crazy speed it is hard to notice. But over all I like the cutscenes, funny artwork and the music is PERFECT!

Thank you so much, appreciate it!

Thank you for feedback. Glad you like the artwork. I got distracted by the detective theme maybe too much, the autumn themes should be more visible, maybe one cutscene with the case description but got into time troubles. I wanted to make something different and creative but sorry to read you didn't find it enjoyable.

Thank you for feedback! I agree, I got distracted by the detective theme maybe too much but wanted to make something different and creative. You're right the sound effects are one of the things I did not managed to do in time. But glad you like it anyway!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :)

I drew 20 small eyes, 20 big eyes, 20 small ears, 20 big ears etc... You have to make sure every possible nose fits to every possible face and then it's just about random number generation that chooses if the face has small or big eyes and based on this it generates random frame out of the 20 possible small eyes for example.

Thanks! Play the game during breaks and have fun being a detective at least in a virtual world.

I’m glad you liked it 😁

I made a small casual game about finding a perp among 6 funky looking suspects that are procedurally generated. So every playthrough is different. This is my first game with procedural generation, tell me what you think!

Thank you very much 🩷
