This was a fun game of pattern matching. I wish I could view the suspect description without having to zoom in on a single face.

Thank you for playing! From the seventh case onwards it's more complicated, because only one facial feature is different. The differences aren't intentionally too distinct, as you say, so I'm glad I hit the difficulty just right :)

Most of these poor guys were just trying to enjoy a nice autumn day in their earth-tone zip-sweaters, hoodies, and scarves, and bam! -- they ended up having to participate in a line-up downtown. Nice job creating this game, it worked very smoothly and felt fair. I had to get used to your descriptors a little bit with ears, etc., but the way you designed the choices of people it wasn't hard to understand what you intended. Nice!

the thumbnail is striking haha! I will agree with another commenter that I’m not sure it fits with the cozy autumn theme as its focus was more on the detective mystery mechanic Which you already know. Great nonetheless! Well done, procedural generation is just a treat. The art style is bold but nice, reminds me of some adult cartoon styles or Adult Swim.

I drew 20 small eyes, 20 big eyes, 20 small ears, 20 big ears etc... You have to make sure every possible nose fits to every possible face and then it's just about random number generation that chooses if the face has small or big eyes and based on this it generates random frame out of the 20 possible small eyes for example.
Very creative and super cool use of procedural generation. I don't know if it was cozy per say lol... it is a game about a lineup of suspects afterall, but it was very well done. I would definitely add a music volume sliders somewhere. Maybe some sound effects when switching between each character would be nice too. Very cool technology!

The artwork is funky and neat, but the goodness ends there. the gameplay is kinda fun, but also fills me with a sense of ennui. It is creative, however. the main problem is that It tries hopelessly to fall into the autumn part of the jam, but fails. It tries to describe the crimes as "fall related" but the crime description isn't ever seen in gameplay unless you click on something you don't even know is interactive. The game itself tries to describe it as cozy, but is cold and just a game about suspects.

I wanted to make something different and creative but sorry to read you didn't find it enjoyable.
