We've already begun working on the next build! We'll be posting an update after the gamejam is done ^^

Thank you so much. You made our day with this comment ^^

Thank you! We plan on adding a lot more post-jam and doing a big update so stay tuned!

I love the idea of the storm knocking away blocks! That isn't something we'd considered as we felt it'd be too destructive and annoying for the player. But maybe something along those lines ^^ We plan on doing a big update after the voting ends. Thanks for checking it out!

Literally such a joy to see someone else play your game. Thank you for checking it out! We plan on doing a big update after the jam ends ^^

Thank you so much! We'll be doing a big update after the voting ends so please do come back to check that out ^^

Thank you for your wonderful comment! We plan on doing a big update after the voting ends ^^

LOL This made me so happy. Thats how you know a game is working. I tried making one too tbf ^^

Oh man thanks so much Dylan! Wish we could've spent more time creating proper systems but thas how jams go haha

Oh. My. God.

This. Game. Is. Incredible. An absolute winner for me! Everything from the get go was just so intuitive. I love LOVE that you have a lil radio to change tunes while you play this game. Everything about it makes it such a vibe. Seriously incredible work guys!

Everything about this game is brilliant! One of my contenders for favourite game of the jam without a doubt. The gameplay is clever. Fits so well with the theme. Music and art are such a vibe.

Yeah I did what to make it difficult on purpose. Especially since the game was so short and the restart points were pretty close by it made sense.

Thank you!

Need this to be a full game! Amazing work guys

Really fun game! Got a lil laugh out of me with the different characters

Really enjoyed the game! Feels like it could be the sort of cozy game you can just log onto after work or school and wind down to ^^

This game needs to win the jam. What an incredible concept. The gameplay just kept me wanting going back again and again to find new combos. Pls make this a full on game! It has so much potential

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah I should've definitely made the platforms that can't be passed through look different visually that's a learning for the next one.

Oh weird the dialogue didnt progress even after pressing Z?

Oh man you're the perfect commenter! Thank you so much for the detailed feedback. Will definitely look into adding coyote time. I havent heard of jump cache before that sounds interesting. Because of the limitations of GBStudio engine I can't make the bounding boxes smaller (They've basically purpose built the engine to run on gameboys) otherwise thats a great tip!

Thanks for checking it out! What sort of changes would you want to see to the jump?

Fun fact this game works on an actual Gameboy! It's built for it ☺️

Aw thank you! Had fun making those plants haha

Thank you!

This game needs to win. It definitely deserves it! What in insanely unique concept and I can see an infinite ways the gameplay can be expanded on. Thanks guys for such a treat!

Love the mechanics! Fits the theme so well ^^

Really enjoyed the gameplay loop. Wasn't 100% sure what the female character was suppose to do. Enjoyed the pace at which new enemies were added. The difficulty curve was well thought out!

Okay this was one of my favourites of the jam. I'm rooting for this one to win! The last puzzle design was just so so so clever and intuitive. Not too difficult or easy. The goldilocks of balance!

Thank you for the feedback!

Probably my favourite game from the jam so far! Really polished solid gameplay loop that kept me wanting to try again to get a higher score. I think the difficulty needs to be balanced a bit more because I wasn't able to get enough time to charge anything.

Really interesting gameplay!  Was there a way to win/lose the game that I missed? I seemed to go on for a while (our game has a similar problem haha)

I love a gba game. The art, the music, the gameplay all of it works together so well! Great stuff

Really love the composition and art of the game. Some clever light puzzles too.

Gameplay loop is fun! Would've been nice if the location where you switch between realms was randomised instead of the corners. But I can see this being fun with some added polish/juice. Highscore of 53 secs

Really loved the clever way of mixing gameplay and narrative!

Thank you!

This game is the winner of the gamejam for me. I can't believe it doesn't have more comments! Everything about it is so well made. The animations, the art, the gameplay loop, the inventory, the map, the town hub. You guys have seriously outdone yourselves. I know there are some bugs. I think there's a game breaking one that keeps saying I've lost when i enter combat. But despite that I really enjoyed the world you all have created.

Really fun game! Reached wave 15 before dying. Wizards and cops and mud? Who would've thought this'd be such a winning combo haha. You've nailed the main gameplay loop. Only thing missing is the extra juice and indicators for stuff like when you get hit or damage an enemy. Otherwise great game!
