How does your game fit the theme?
The concept was to have a storm every now and then which would destroy a small part of your building with eerie music right beforehand

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes

Really cool game, the building mechanic is really, really nice. I know it's somewhat unfinished, but I would still suggest adding some slight animations (wings moving, clouds, flags moving along the wind). The graphics look really stunning, so a bit more life would just make the whole experience perfect. I mean, it already has a very nice vibe, so thanks for making!

Nice game if you had time to implement the storm this would be a top game for sure!!

Love the art, music and sounds they fit well! I softlock myself with the blocks lmao. I did crazy stuff.

Well done game congrats!

Lovely concept for a game! While it's unfortunate you weren't able to get the storm into the game I think what you have here is a solid start for a fun experience! Really like the music and the sound effect, nothing makes me more excited than a Lydian chord :)

Cozy! Here's what I got before I got too many cones. Idk if I was really going for anything in particular. But that's a nice base for making something really neat. Love the design.

This was charming! It was surreal and had a cozy vibe, but I half-expected it to turn into a creepypasta due to the theme of the jam. For a city builder where there is no stated goal, can't say there's anything wrong with it. I managed to soft-lock myself (no given pieces to fit the structure), but I did it half-purposefully.

Really cosy idea, would love if you updated it in the future!

Such a sweet concept! Love the art and music, please keep updating this!! Since we can't remove the blocks I think the storm would be perfect to refresh or buildings heheh.

Thanks for the game! <3

Absolute gorgeous art! It's a shame you didn't have time to implement the storm phase, but it was quite a relaxing experience overall. Well done!

The whale is absolute mood. I dig this concept and the music... of my lord, giving me heavy animated movie vibes. Amazing game you guys made.

Really charming idea. Love the little clicks as the pieces snap together. I spent way more time than I would have expected just building out my dope whale village. Would definitely enjoy seeing the fully realized version some day.

Thank you for your wonderful comment! We plan on doing a big update after the voting ends ^^

This is really cute. do you plan to continue working on this after the game jam? I would be interested in playing one that matches your vision.

Thank you so much! We'll be doing a big update after the voting ends so please do come back to check that out ^^

Neat concept, love the whale building and personalization.

Love the concept. Flying whales is always a win in my book. The building felt very nice and I really liked the Tetris-y aspect of getting new blocks to build with so there's a bit of pre-planning you have to do. It's a shame you didn't get to implement the storm aspect as I'm really curious to see how that would have worked. Great job with what you got done, though!

Cool building game

love the art

nice calming music

great snappy building mechanic

would love to see what this would look like in your planned iteration, does a storm knock the items off the whale?

one of my favorite fantasy motifs of all time is 'Sky Whales' always love a good sky whale!

Developer

I love the idea of the storm knocking away blocks! That isn't something we'd considered as we felt it'd be too destructive and annoying for the player. But maybe something along those lines ^^ We plan on doing a big update after the voting ends. Thanks for checking it out!

Very beautiful art!

Immediately cool title and concept.

Great execution on the simplicity of it all. Super intuitive!
Please update this after the jam so that there is a bit of animation in the background/ whale (clouds moving by etc.)

Developer

Thank you! We plan on adding a lot more post-jam and doing a big update so stay tuned!
