Amazing concept, cool art style!
Nice game, good presentation, art and music. Love it!
Loved the gameboy style graphics, very cute game!
Nice presentation - all the animations ran smoothly. I liked the music too.
Very nicely captures an oldschool type video game with the art and music! Super cute, I enjoyed it a lot :)
really love the retro style, very good job. Took me a few trys to make the final jump (and somehow the game kept crashing randomly) but apart from that super cute game!
huge fan of the art super cool :) very slippy controls but i like that you added checkpoints/you don't have to restart the big room when you die. toilet in platform in corner of house hell yeah
Controls are pretty slippery which i didnt like, but everything else was cool! loved the trees at the end, really makes me feel like i did something
"Earth is saved" Yep, I did it.
Design si very cute, feel like an old GBA game :)
Control are easy to use, and the music work as well.
If you could try and rate my game, I'd be grateful!Look and sounds great, i love how heavy the character feels, reminds me of warioland on GB
Very good music and art style we enjoyed testing your game !
Such a fun little game! Music and art is great. Controls were very tough, not sure if it's suppose to be that intentionally hard?
Yeah I did what to make it difficult on purpose. Especially since the game was so short and the restart points were pretty close by it made sense.
I really enjoyed the pixel art and music! Good job.
Thank you!
I love the artwork and music, though the character controller feels awkward to play. The player decelerates so slowly that it's hard to move precisely. Also, the jump is very floatly going up but very heavy going down, which feels very odd in this case.
Either way, very nice work, especially for just three days!
Cool game but i found movment (mostly jumping) a bit hard
Really cute the art is great, wish there was more and some more mechanics, but yeah good !!
Great game! The art art and music are really good. After seeing this was made on an engine for the Gameboy I can see why the control are a little janky, the gravity is a bit too high imo and in the tower some of the platforms can be passed through and others have full collision, make sure to make each type visually distinct. Other than that the game was really fun!
Thank you for the feedback! Yeah I should've definitely made the platforms that can't be passed through look different visually that's a learning for the next one.
This game is very good! Retro graphics are very good! But management in the game makes it more difficult! But from the minuses, I can only say that the web-version has one bug in which I simply could not skip the dialogue! And the game is great!
Oh weird the dialogue didnt progress even after pressing Z?
Yes(
Very fun game, controls are a difficult, but art and music are great!
Very nice retro aesthetic. Also the music is great, and fits the game very nicely. The controls need a little bit of improvement (but this is usually the hardest part to achieve on a plattformer). My suggestions are: Try adding some "coyote time" and some jump cache, and making the player's and enemy's bounding box a little bit smaller. This will make the game easier, but you can try adding difficulty in other ways (more enemies and traps that require precise controls).
The game is beautiful overall and I enjoyed it. But if you add this improvements you could easily expand it and make a large game that many (including me) would certainly enjoy.
Nice work!
Oh man you're the perfect commenter! Thank you so much for the detailed feedback. Will definitely look into adding coyote time. I havent heard of jump cache before that sounds interesting. Because of the limitations of GBStudio engine I can't make the bounding boxes smaller (They've basically purpose built the engine to run on gameboys) otherwise thats a great tip!
