A lovely Ghibili-style piano style on I Love You Mom and The Nurse Told Me. I can hear the potential influences in the score, though that is not a bad thing. It's all about how you blend your inspirations to create the world you want to make that is uniquely yours. The compositions by themselves are really lovely, and I do think further developing the melodic ideas in tracks like "Sunday Funday" and "The Nurse Told Me" with a B section would give you more room to show off your unique musical voice and enhance the already strong storytelling.
I love the ambient atmosphere of these tracks. They truly do open the mind to imagine a world you've never seen before. I would listen to the second track "The Mechanic" while writing a fantasy story, It really sparks the imagination for me! I can clearly see the vision of people living inside a piano and this being a game that can exist. The sonic bed you make with the piano mixed with the textural sounds do a lot to create that feel you're going for. If you were to continue the score I'd even suggest adding a bit of reverb to the chiptune harmonica type instrument. Overall this is a really fun piece!
This game's amazing. Such a fun mystery and evolving story. Great adherence to theme. Very fun puzzle mystery game. My small critique which is almost really a nitpick is that some clues can get pretty lengthy with small font which can take a while to read, and that time can cause the lightbulb to die out. It never really ruined the experience because most of the time there was another lamp nearby to take the place so that made it work for me, but just something to consider.
