One of the most creative soundtracks I've listened to! I think in some tracks the instruments could be clearer, but I enjoyed it!

Thank you!! :)

So good, the harmonies are out of this world..

I love your cover art, heh)

That's why I love experimental music, because in such music you can get absolutely amazing emotions from any sounds and techniques...

I like it!

Thank you :))

My gosh this is beautiful. I loved your submission. Pixcele made an interesting point about breathing room. I feel it's one of my weaknesses too. Lovely OST, great job!

Very nice and sweet, i think you did a good job of making all these songs engaging and enjoyable to listen to! I think your writing is really strong, but I would encourage you not to be afraid of space! In the first two songs we have a lot of (admittedly incredibly pretty) piano, and if you grow comfortable with giving the audience room to breathe, it will help make some of these running lines even more impactful. Space doesn't necessarily mean no playing either, it can be experimenting with the frequency or volume of notes as well!! Ultimately though, I really enjoyed this. Nice work!

Thank you for your comment, really appreciate it! I'm still learning, so will definitely pay more attention to the space in future tracks :)

I liked the sound effects in The Mechanic!

this sounds like if every zelda game's musical style was mashed together, and i really enjoyed it! good job!

the majora's mask feel of the very beginning of meet the engine was what made me think of this

Haha true, thank you for your comment :)

As a piano player, its refreshing to hear more piano riffs in these entries! This is really beautiful and I love how you play with dissonance, the piano is both beautiful and haunting. I think tracks 1 and 2 might need a little more to differentiate them from each other, but the melody throughout is great

Developer

Thank you for your comment! I agree about differentiating 2 and 3rd track completely, I also had a thought to develop them further and make them less alike :)

This went from a "normal" piece of piano to experimental, very mysterious and interesting use of sound design all around. I would just watch for some annoying frequency on the piano. Good job.

Developer

Thank you! Appreciate your comment, frequency was tough to manage I agree :)

What an interesting submission! The soundtrack kept me guessing and on my feet with every song. I like the idea of traveling through a piano, this could definitely be an intriguing game!

Developer

Thanks so much for your comment! :)

This was fun! In Meet The Engine, at first I was a bit distracted by the synth over the piano but it grew on me the more I listened. Overall, the sound design elements really stood out and made this a unique submission. Great job!

There is so much about your production that I find so so smart. The combination of clockwork ambiences with nature ones in The Mechanic is so evocative for reasons I'm sure you were thinking of when creating that track. Your melodies are really strong and the yearning quality of your synths contrasting the more active and engaged piano parts is spellbinding. Truly one of my favorites so far :)

I love the ambient atmosphere of these tracks. They truly do open the mind to imagine a world you've never seen before. I would listen to the second track "The Mechanic" while writing a fantasy story, It really sparks the imagination for me! I can clearly see the vision of people living inside a piano and this being a game that can exist.  The sonic bed you make with the piano mixed with the textural sounds do a lot to create that feel you're going for. If you were to continue the score I'd even suggest adding a bit of reverb to the chiptune harmonica type instrument. Overall this is a really fun piece!

Thank you so much! :)

Interesting video game concept. "Outer World" caught my attention, you can notice the contrast with the previous tracks and the mysterious vibe is promising. Good job Lubita!

Such an interesting tone, gotta love the experimental electronic bits layered on top of a more "classical" piano. It creates a great vibe and has its own style. Love it!
