Thanks for the comment! Yeah, totally agree. Got stuck on some pretty simple things in Godot so I kind a focused more on the art... :P

Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it! I tried to find the right balance between too hard and too easy, but 72 hours isn't that long ahah!

Really awesome concept and great execution! The core game loop is really fun, although it might be a bit hard punishing some time. I felt like the only way to win was to get lucky with the building, and once you're set up you become to big to fail. But I had loads of fun, managed to beat it around my tenth try!

The footsteps sound are a bit unnerving when you get more than a dozen, so maybe always play the same sound without regard to how many followers the player has, I feel like the visual indication is enough! :)

Great game, really happy I played it!

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it! :)

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Yeah most of my time was spent testing the platforming. Glad you think I pulled it off!

Glad you liked the atmosphere! The important part is you tried! :)

Really ambishous for a game jam. Here's a couple of ideas I had (excluding those said previously) :

  1. Add a bit of post processing, vignette, fog, bloom, etc. It's an easy way to add a lot of ambiance and polish.
  2. Add a soundtrack, even if its just one song that loops. It can really help set the tone of the game.
  3. Add a bit of text to give some flavor and explication!

Keep on making games!

Really like the music, the characters also control really well! Good job making a coop game in such a short time!

Great concept and great execution, everything controls really well and the music is just right!

Fun concept, with a little tweak it could be a great mobile game. You could add different types of bombs, maybe speed up the game after a while.

Congratulations!

I think the core idea of the game is good, but it gets a bit repetitive after a while. The polish, graphics and sound design is really nice. With a bit of work, it could become a really nice mobile game!

Cool puzzle game, neat concept of moving the goal around! The doors are often a little hard to control, but all in all great game! Lots of levels to which is a big plus!

Neat little idea, with a bit more time you could probably polish the game and make it a more complete experience.

Keep making games!

Thanks a bunch!

Great ideas! If I ever decided to work on it a bit would, I will certainly explore those!

Funny little concept, so many little bouncy balls!

Nice little cutscene at the start! The jump from the cut scene to the game makes it a bit easy to die. Overall neat idea and execution!

Congrats!

Nice game, some sections are a bit hard but not too much. A couple of visual bugs that could be easily fixed to create a great little game!

Congrats.

Really great experience! Really like the use of games to promote values and meaningful messages.

Great overall experience, thanks for it!

Cool concept, no beer for me :(

The color palette and drawing are really good, the music is a bit hardcore but fits the theme.

Amazing idea! Took me a while to understand but I had fun!

Really interesting idea! The graphics and sound design are also really neat!

Thank you for your kind words! :)

Thanks! I tried to keep everything simple so I could really get the game polished!

And the top-down view was a late addition, trying to find the right perspective was tricky glad it helps!

Sable was a big inspiration, I really love the art style of Moebius and more recently Kilian Eng so tried to create an atmospheric game that could be part of their worlds!

Thanks for playing.

Thank you for your kind words, the shaders are from the Flat Toon Kit. Yeah wished I had time to add more sound effect, but spent a lot of time on finding the right position for the camera.

Lot's of practice and failed projects! :) Thanks a lot.

(1 edit)

Unfortunately, the shaders are the only thing I didn't make :( They are from the Flat Kit : Toon and Water Shaders from the asset store. In 72 hours I couldn't imagine creating such beautiful shaders!

Thanks!

Really interesting concept, with a bit of work I think it could be really fun. Small issue, every time I got close to C3 I would have to stamp a new bunch of paper.

Really good idea, congratulations!

Nice concept, the controls are solid! Really cool atmosphere. Had fun playing it!

The game doesn't seem to work, I just see the bottom of some text :(

Nice idea, mixing two types that really work well together. With a little bit of work, it could be a really nice project.

Congrats!

The core mechanics of the grappling hook is a nice idea, can really see this becoming a nice game with a bit more work.

Nice project, the idea fits well with the theme. The horse step sound is a bit annoying after a while. It could be a good idea to add a bit of UI to show stats like the distance it took you to capture all the horsemen, etc.

Congrats!

Nice idea that fit's really well with the theme. Had a bit of difficulty with the jump, didn't work all of the time. Impressive game for a one-day project.

Neat idea! Really like the simple graphics and electronic music combo. Would be curious to see what the game could be in 3D!

Graphics are neat and the concept is interesting. Nice twist on the theme. Felt a bit pointless to try and shoot the targets in the back since the delay on the projectile was quite long. All and all great idea!

Neat little idea and well executed, a bit hard to grab the small items when you're trying to go fast, but nonetheless really fun.
