Cute game! I had a little bit of trouble figuring when I was allowed to grow or shrink, and I think locked doors should have a padlock on both sides to show they're locked, but overall it's cool! Great work!
Cute sound effects, music and style! It would be great to know where a building is going to end up when hovering (e.g. it might be highlighted green if it can be placed there, or red if it's an invalid spot). Are the aesthetics Midsommar inspired? Great work!
I like the idea and the art, assets and music are great! But I had a couple of issues:
Clicking to skip the dialogue: one click should show the entire message, instead of entirely moving to the next line of dialogue. The writing of the words was too slow, so I wanted to see the whole message, but clicking would skip it entirely.
I think restarting the game after a fail state is broken - the waves never seemed to come
As others have mentioned it's quite difficult to keep your towers on the island after a couple of waves
The buy UI could be improved - I failed my first run without purchasing anything because I didn't understand how to use the buttons (click on the icon, then hover over the tile and click again to place). I also couldn't see the prices for the towers/rocks so I didn't know how much money they cost.
The settings menu would pop up quite frequently, unannounced! lol
