Honestly, this is creativity! Love seeing something new and can't wait to see what concepts this might spawn 😄

How does your game fit the theme?
The game is all about balancing the scales, both literally by balancing the tilting platform, and figuratively by balancing between your tower's weight and damage output.

The art, design, typographic choices, and page design are immaculate! I can really tell this is a team full of talent.
The idea is really interesting and unique! Definitely adds a new layer of strategy to the normal tower defense formula.
One thing I would've liked in the UI was some sort of 2D depiction of how much the landscape is tilting, as it's not always obvious with the free camera. I don't think it would need to be super detailed, just a scale or maybe even just a # of degrees out of whack you are.
The soundtrack is really fun and fitting as well. Really fantastic work, great job all!
the art for this game is really cool can it is just so fun and creative!!! This is probably the best game I've seen all jam
LMAOOO it's so much fun, it's a very unique way of using the phycis and the theme, i really enjoyed it !
AWESOME concept, and there's a ton of charm to the setting and characters. I really struggled to keep the balance past the 4th wave or so, kept losing towers to falling off the edge, and just couldn't figure out how to plan for/counter the 3 or so cyclops wave. Might just need some adjustment of weight values, but it's overall a super creative entry and a great interpretation of the theme!
The concept of a tower defense game that requires you to physically balance your defense and the enemies can also cause the level to tilt is super creative! The art and graphics are also super charming.
One suggestion: During dialog, clicking once could show the entire line, and then clicking again could skip to the next line. The text took a while to print out but clicking would skip that line entirely. Also, sometimes the dialog pauses long enough that I think I need to click to go to the next line, and I end up skipping something by accident.
There were a few bugs I found: I had a turret tower slide fully into the center tower (their models overlapped). On a few rounds, the round ended with enemies still alive. Most of the health I lost during my session was because of those enemies (since I can’t build new towers or rebalance the level to stop them from falling off). Also, the conversation continued and the health bar inverted and started filling up again after I got game over.
Fun mechanic and really good looking style! At some point the game stopped spawning enemies for me, but I think I was already near the end anyway?
In the future I would like to be able to fast forward text by clicking and then the 2nd click be skip, that way I can control how fast I read instead of having to wait. Solid entry!
Man, that was hard! Tower defense with a tilting map gets crazy too quickly.
The presentation was amazing, I just felt like during the fights the music could be a bit more... battle-y?
A way to speed up the chat would go a long way, I wanted to read what they said but it felt too slow.
I didn't last long in the game, but I wish there was some score. Also, when game over appeared, the characters' chat continued.
If you guys plan on updating the game, maybe adding a way to check the weight impact of every slot placement would be nice? It's a bit complicated to figure out if the balancing and counter balancing will work at times.
Also, when I tried to replay after losing, I skipped all the chat and placed a tower, but nothing happened. Either it bugged or perhaps the first wave has some sort of fixed time to start?
Anyways, really great job, it was one of the most interesting concepts I found so far! Well done!
Thanks for your very kind words and having taken the time to write a nice feedback!
We are hard at work the drop an update after the voting periode for people wanting to give it a second chance if you are ever interested :D
Many things was "Done" but not really put correctly in the final build in the end.
Scope issues, skill issues and time issues on my part for some of them ;P
We all learned a lot!
Again, Thank you for this lenghty feedback!
That's a very cool concept with a great potential! And a very nice presentation :) I agree with VonoTheAxe on the skip dialogue button. Nevertheless it was great fun, nice job! :)
Love the Greek theme and the art is really cool. At first it was a bit unclear what i needed to do, but I figured it out on my next try. I think the skip dialogue button should first make the dialogue complete, and if you click again it goes to the next one. The dialogue also keeps going when it's game over. Looking around is kind of counterintuitive, because I feel like the view moves the wrong way. Anyways, these are all details and it's a really fun game!
The polish on this is impressive! You can really tell that everyone involved is very talented.
I think this is a unique and interesting take on the theme, a tower defense where you balance a tilting platform. I loved the art of the various enemies. I do think it needs a balance (lol) pass, it felt as though once the scale was tipped one way there was nothing I could really do. Maybe have the moutains be a free resource instead of costing coins? Just a thought and overall I still really enjoyed it.
That's a really good game and it looks so cool, TD at it's best !
Good job on this entry !
This is such a cool game concept. Tower defense games have become so formulaic so it's nice to see someone trying to freshen up the genre with a little creativity.
A bug that I found to be a bit annoying was that if I went to place a structure, and the tiles tilted before I placed it, I would have to go and reselect it before I could actually place the building down. It ended up being a bit frustrating given the cyclopes consistent tilting making it difficult to rebalance on the fly. Minor bugs aside, I had a ton of fun playing this game, and it feels like a concept that could be expanded after the jam into a full fledged game.
Amazing idea, looks amazing, there is even polish. The only part i had problems is with the difficulty. The amount of money i got didn't really allow me to make choices and i haven't felt i was in control. The only thing this would need is some careful balancing (no pun intended) and some well thouth out map design. (If you can find it would mean a lot if you reviewed my game)
I love tower defense games so this was amazing! The aspect of literally balancing towers was a great twist and added a layer of complexity that this genre usually misses.
