Super fun idea. Very chaotic, but very fun.

Fun idea, well executed! I however tended to make him quite small in my first window and just drag my window through obstacles to take the coins, then jump to a new window and repeat the process, was easier than platforming. So maybe it would be cool if there was something that prevented that! Besides that really cool and a lot of fun!
This is such a wonderful idea! Im quite impressed with however you did this, I dont think scalable window's are the easiest to do xD The game loop and puzzles were also pretty cool! Althou Im not sure if its the scale he was in, but my knight seemed to have skipped leg day, his jumps were quite tiny hahaha
Either way, this a great submission!
The window scaling was definitely a pain and a bit of hack since the character was basically always moving between new screen spaces that used different coordinates. Definitely the first thing I'd address if I kept working on the game.
Jumps are directly proportional to your height, so the smaller you are the smaller the jumps. Could probably use a bit more fine tuning.
Thank you for playing!
Incredibly inventive game. Literally thinking outside the box. And the mechanics are actually interesting to play with beyond just being a fun gimmick. Love it!
This is sooo cool! :) I loved how you mixed the window manipulation mechanic with an autorunner, very nicely executed, I had great fun, thanks! :)
Mac build can't be opened unfortunately 😢 Same thing happened with my team's game 😭
All it said is "this item can't be opened" and then i got a popup saying it was damaged and needed to be moved to the trash. If something says it can't be opened, I can usually mess around in the terminal and get it to bypass whatever is stopping it, but if it's damaged i don't think I can do anything.
Really inovative game. I don't know how it's even possible to work in many windows and between windows, but you made it. Timer for every window is clever, but it can be exploited by selecting window with top fully filled with tiles. Character is therefore outside given window and not spending timer. So player can use the one window throughout whole game as a platform.
But that's just a small issue. Other parts of the game are well done, game looks great and of course levels make you think outside the box :D
Good job.
This game is soo good! I had fun for a bit only with the windows mechanic and moving them around, and i accidently resized the screen and was like "WHAT THATS A MECHANIC?!?".
The game work well since it allows you to solve each window in a variety of ways and you are encouraged to be creative!
Great submission!
WOW! This is so well done, from the mechanics to the art and how good the concept its itself!
Really cool concept and well executed. It's fun to play, easy to understand but hard to master. For some reason the game windows were semi-transparent on my PC but it wasn't a big deal.
interesting idea, i discovered after a bit I could overlap the windows that open up to all new dimensions ahah
love it, a bit of work on the art side and this could be a really cool game! keep it up!
If you could tell me what weed you smoke when you find ideas i'm 100% all in ! This is crazy smart and fun. The first time i'm seeing something like this, it was hard but not too much, the game si polished and works well, very very good job !
I've seen this kind of concept before in previous GMTKs but not like this. Overall the way it was handled was really well thought out. If I had to critique something about it its that the windows are kind of hard to scale whilst moving.
Wow, what a cool concept for a game! Great attention to detail with the signals that you were running out of time. I wish the spike hitboxes were a bit more forgiving, and I feel like the scale drag handles could be larger (I didn’t figure out you could scale the windows for a while because I never had my mouse in quite the right place), but you have something special here and I hope you keep working on it!
Thank you!
I didn't run into issues with the spikes when playtesting, though granted with the limited time I didn't do too much of that honestly. Definitely a great callout and something I'd keep in mind if I did keep working on it.
Completely agree about the windows, its a bit too finicky as is to readjust them.
Wow, this is a clever take on the theme and on platformers in general. Mechanics were easy to understand, but that didn't prevent the game from being fun and challenging.
Amazing idea! Was a bit difficult to scale the windows while they were moving, but otherwise had a good time playing it.
