This was absolutely hilarious and fun. I love how you flipped the dungeon crawler on its head and went with the baddies are the good guys. You all did a very great job congrats!

This is super cool, I was completely confused at first still confused on some bits. but some audio cues would be extremely nice.

Simple, entertaining, and quick. I liked it all. The pond was beautiful even in pixel art and the fact I got to walk around with a turtle on my head... magnificent.

I though it was kind of funny and cheesy, however it wore off pretty fast for me. I saw myself getting a bit agitated by the speed, and the constant having to space or enter for next clip.

Very interesting concept, I liked the mechanic, and the art was pretty epic. Greatjob

Interesting concept, was unsure of what to do after I got the mimic loop?

I was not able to get past the 2nd room, I dont know what I was supposed to be doing.

The art was hand drawn by me.

Thank you.

This is pretty cool I like the concept, I feel like the hampster should roll a little further though.

To everyone that plays our game: Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. We took great pride in the concept and development of Samsara. We have spent several long nights and dragged out discord calls to bring you the pinnacle of our respective backgrounds from all over the pipeline and the globe. For many of us, this was their first game jam, for some, it was not, however for all of us it was our first big team jam and we had a blast working together bashing our heads with one another trying to make what was in our heads to come out into a clear vision for you to see.  I suspect that not just I made some lifelong friends with this jam. To my team, thank you, thank you, thank you for being patient with my designs, my lifestyle outside game design and its craziness that comes with it. More importantly thank you for the laughs, the frustrations, and the epic game we were able make.

You are all epic, or as Enenera would say; Dope!

I was so very confused then I got it figured out I got to 61. Had to stop there to take a call. Good game.

Alright, thank you I will try and make a better effect for the updated version.

I was able to get to the 3rd note, what I did see did set up the ambiance of fear quite quickly and it maintained the whole time I was trying to get through the maze, but yeah the grainy effect was difficult to see through, but on the same token i see how it added to the effect of dreamlike state.

Sorry I wasnt more clear. The shadow of the gun.

I was greatly enjoying the logic behind these very simple puzzles. Way to use simple for complex. :D

I was catching myself forcing myself to breath you did a great job keeping the suspense. The notes left behind some of them were difficult for me to read because of the way the font flowed into each other, the grainyness of the screen did also mess with my vision to the point I had to stop playing it bothered my eyes how it went from super grainy to low grain.  I appreciate the effort you did a good job from what I could see. Thank you and good luck.

Thank you, lol, I think you went out the wrong door. the ticking of the clock was meant to be a constant reminder you were on a fixed time limit and add urgency to the search. For the rest I shall be fixing all them things and then trying to make a workable game idea out of it. Even if it is just for my demo reel.

The concept was cool and I like the new fresh take on magic and potions through new spell names. My first playthrough I accidently went outside the map and I wasnt trying to I was looking behind me and walked right off. There is also the jerkiness and super sensitive mouse that made it difficult to make precision attacks. Thank you for sharing this.

Please try my submission below.

I absolutely LOVED this art style! The music seems kinda misplaced, the shadows were pretty distracting, as well was the brightness level. The jump took A LOT to get used to but I did beat the game.

of course I will do it after I get home from running my errands

Yeah I was all over that map using the arrow keys.

To sprint, you hold shift down usually

This was so trippy, I was so confused on how to do this in a good way, when I figured it out the movement was so difficult because i was not thinking left or right or right and left i was just thinking left goes left and right goes right.., was having a hard time wrappoing my head around that

I dont know what Im supposed to do there is no way to restart

(1 edit)

That was a lot of reading.

I dont know what to do with this.?

I enjoyed the sidescrolling, the camera seemed to be a little close, and jumping into the coins from beneath messed me up a couple of times as it was like hitting a wall.

Pretty easy to do, I didnt get very high, I attempted 3 lives. I didnt get back to the same height the branch was at in the beginning seemed like every time you swooped down and back up it was a diminishing return for the next set of swoops. It was a good concept though thank you for allowing me the opportunity to see it.

Didnt get very far kept dying. The lighting was great though.

The game was pretty unique, I didnt get all the way through it, but I enjoyed the mechanics. I had an issue with my sticky keys kept getting turned on so i had to reset that. Im used to playing with shift so tapping is difficult when I hold it down.

Over all great idea. Thanks

Thank you, I do have plans on building it up. I plan on scratching what I got and rebuilding it with hopefully cleaner code, less space definitely and fix the known bugs. Thank you for reviewing my game.

I liked the jet pack sequence just need to have better controls it seemed a little slow to accept commands this caused me to crash.

5* On audio JUST because of the elevator. I did the three things on the computer unsure what to do now I got stuck down stairs in reactor room.

Couldnt get the towers to drop and i didnt know where they could go, somehow i got one of the bottom ones on the field i dont know how i didnt click on it. I like the art and music.

Was having a hard time figuring out how this game fit the theme, then I seen the wagon and picked it up with other peeps on it. The music was good, didnt quite fit the theme but it was good, I dont understand what the red/blue bars are for. Good concept liked it thank you for showing it.

Music was pretty loud, and I kept getting cornered by the blobs. Couldnt jump, move, or attack .

Damn wizards always causing chaos with curses and shit.... Anyhoo I found the game enjoyable however I dont know what its like for everyone else, the audio was extremely loud in the castle, with no way to turn it down except "off" with my head phones. Even right before i turn off the volume was super loud.
