Thank you! I will always try and continue making cool projects like this!

All I did was throw something together as stated! Glad you like it.

Really cool idea and game! I love games that have an ecosystem to them. An idea that I have for this is starting at the top animal and working down and trying to become the dominant species. This would lead to harder difficulties and starts the player off being a bear! For becoming the dominant species, that would mean knowing where other animals' habitat is, what they eat, and what their predators are. I think that could lead to a unique strategy game once those places and nuances for each animal are set leading to a complex ecosystem. This would however change the whole game idea so your choice. Really fun game especially considering it was made in a week!

Very interesting concept idea. This could very easily become one of those puzzle games with a simple mechanic, but surprisingly hard puzzles. Right now, it seems very slow and precise. Instead, I would recommend to try and focus on some fast game play and puzzles. Some tips on how to accomplish that would be to add some quick movements for the player like sliding and wall running and especially add an aim assist. A game that uses aim assist would be like the green shells in a mariokart game. I would recommend you look into that. Great starting game and concept for a week!

This thread is created for the oddball posts that the topic I may have missed in my other threads! Don't want to leave anyone out! Hopefully I covered all bases! I really hope this does well and is useful to you all. Have a great season! :)

Well, I will try my best to help you through this... together! Keep in mind I may be busy (so if you know the answer to someone else's posts, help me out and post a reply. Thanks!) Be sure to especially search through these posts before posting your own as your question may have already been answered.

Can't wait to see what's next? Well, what should I work on next?? Let me know, by upvoting someone else's or posting an original. This will help shape my focus on what to implement next!

Got something to say about the Build Update? This update includes the Build Tab and design saving as well as the bare bones for the program. This topic can be directed towards the parts list. Post a part you would like to see (if no one else has posted about it) and in a future version, it may be added!

(There will hopefully be a feature to add 3d models for your list of parts.)

If that doesn't feel right, I'll try and cater to your needs! Someone thinks like you below? Don't post, upvote. If it's just you? Post about it and I'll look into it.

Uh oh! You shouldn't be here. If you are, check to see if someone has posted about it and upvote. If not, welp, that's another bug: Post it below.

This is intended for a general review of the current state of the program. Feel free to repeat and reply your thoughts!

Thanks! I will definitely implement that more into the game afterwards!

Thanks!

Interesting concept and game as it's a sort of dungeon crawler but vertical. Some of the mechanics feel a bit odd like the player's left and right movement I think. Just try tweaking some values and seeing what fits the best is always the best solution! I liked the idea!

Thanks! I sure did.

Oh no problem! Jams are always about having fun which I can tell you did making your game!

Thank you for that!

The inventory essentially. I feel like it ruins the flow for me. Another suggestion is you could even possibly make it easier to interact instead of completely removing it.

Thanks! I'll definitely keep that in mind!

Ok alright, thanks for the feedback!

I am one who gets excited when I see a game that has potential and I'm glad you feel the same way as you were a bit too ambitious on making your game jam project ideas when you have no time! Also, thanks for the promotion! Glad you enjoyed it!

It's fine. It's always good to hear someone listening to feedback and going through a developer's thought process!

Thanks! If you see on the right, the amount of time crystals is how many times you have to run through and defeat him (as that's how many times he can rewind the level.) The differing difficulties have differing time amounts and time crystals. The gun also is supposed to be a sort of last-resort use, so you'll have to find your way around some obstacles at times in the quickest way possibly to beat the time. Hopefully this clears things up. Sorry you had a bad experience with it.

Oh wow! That was incredible cool with a lot of potential. You of course know how confusing it is, but some other suggestions would be manning other stations of the ship, being able to see the whole dog fight, a story of delivering goods to a city, but you've run out of coal for example, and adding co-op and possibly versus multiplayer would make this game really stand out! It looks graphically amazing especially with all the particles and look forward to see what this game has to offer in the future!

It has been done! My goal of obtaining at least 30 ratings! Thank you for everyone who has rated and enjoyed. I will no longer be advertising my game constantly (to the point of mental exhaustion ;) ), so congrats on finding this message! Hope you enjoy and I will always try and rate back.

Thanks! It's always tricky to explain game mechanics when you want to finish a full game first!

Wow, what a good story and characters! It all flowed pretty well except for when going from one place to next and talking for too long. I think adding nice little music in the background can help as well as increasing character speed, and with the text where it starts typing on the first line then jumps to the next because the words too big to fit on it, try adding "\n" for line breaks so it automatically starts the next line. Great story and it was a nice and weird change with the time baby! A lot of decent stuff done in a week!

Thank you good sir!

This comment was supposed to be about your game! Thanks for that!

Cool 2d shooter game! I liked the range of enemies and the differing difficulties. Some of my suggestions would be to have the enemies be able to path find, have the bullets phase through enemies, have the rewound bullets do double damage, and maybe create some intractable rooms. Great game so far considering a week!

Thanks!

I also think I crashed the game by letting all the vhs tapes go! Hahaha. I had my fun.

Really cool! I liked the feel and theme of it. One suggestion I have is to not have the pop up box. It breaks the feel of the game. Even though it had it's flaws, I still really enjoyed its charm! Nicely done in a week!

Seems interesting... Here is thy traded item: Villain REWIND

Thanks!

Really cool game and nice idea to have a constantly changing level that if you make a mistake, you can work around. I would recommend being able to rewind more after you release space and maybe be able to go back to the beginning as well while rewinding. Overall feels really polished! Good job!

Still looking for games to try? How about mine! Villain REWIND

I like what you're thinking! Here's my game: Villain REWIND

Nice little game! I enjoyed the challenge level of it. One thing I would recommend is to have a main menu. Good job for a week!

I really enjoyed the game! I just wish that the bugs were fixed. I like the physics and the simplicity of the enemies. I also can't seem to pick up any other guns. Great job for a week!
