This game is super cute and the dungeon theme works well with the mechanics. I'm really impressed with the amount of juice you put in; each enemy type has unique death particles and sound effects. There are some problems with the sprites overlapping oddly and the end screen being below the enemies. Overall, very solid mechanics, very solid particles.
Very silly I liked this a lot. The story really kept me going the whole time and having different styles for the same element was interesting; like the concept.
I just wish you could switch between the elemental styles more than once per combat because their names are easy to mix up. I kinda blew through all of them in the first few rounds of the final boss trying to figure out which one to use haha.
The art and aesthetics are amazing and the game itself is very polished. There's a lot to explore so I didn't end up reaching the ending, but I can tell there was a lot of thought put into this.
Some small issues I had: The reapy character would cut me off a lot while walking so maybe you could turn off their hitbox so you don't run in to them. Also, I thought it was odd how every time the protagonist would speak a cough sound would play.
Overall, good work :)
I like the concept I'm a big fan of rogue-lites and chess so this was really cool to see! I thought the art and character designs were cool and I liked the star limit mechanic. The only thing is we got stuck in a stalemate in one level and there wasn't a way to restart the game so we had to refresh the page. Overall, very fun :D
