Congratulations on the well-deserved first place! Great work!

Thank you!

Yeah, there are some serious issues with UI not adjusting properly to resolution - very sorry about this, 100% my bad. For now, on smaller screens you should be able to avoid this by playing the web version in browser and reducing the page zoom so that the game window fits in (Ctrl + mouse wheel scroll)

Also, good catch! You certainly shouldn't be able to gain slaves like that, thank you for noticing this :)

Thank you!

Yeah, that's true, the balance is off - at some point in development it got pretty hard to win, so I reduced the chance of collapses and increased the chance of finding gems, and so trying to make the game feel more "fair" and less annoying I've overdone it and made it too easy. Will fix it after the jam ends!

Thank you!

Yes, in fact that was exactly the idea - we had at least three "hazards" originally planned: cave-ins, fires and slave riots, wrote the mechanics, drawn the sprites and got the sounds and all - but in the end only had time to properly implement, test and polish one, so had to release the game only having collapses as the only danger. Thanks for the feedback - hopefully will add the rest later when the jam ends!

Thank you!

Very nice solid little game, which is in fact not as little as one could expect - the world is quite large and exciting to explore, and even having side quests is a great touch! The controls may be a bit hard to figure out - the first time I played I missed the dialog with the shop keeper, and then because of that got stuck underwater after finding the fish, because I didn't have the double jump ability and couldn't get back up to the surface. But overall it's a really nice game - loved the visuals, the art and the lighting, and really enjoyed the exploration, good job!

First of all, the idea is brilliant, but the execution is even better! The art is outstanding, and the game overall feels really well-polished and fun to play. Great work!

Very unique game overall, from mechanics to art style, but it all fits together and works quite well! The fight is pretty tough, I think I made a few mistakes at first, so for me it was tense balancing at 10sp for no less than 10 mins, but it felt really satisfying to finally win.

The biggest trouble for me was the font - it looks fun and authentic, but gets somewhat hard to read, especially with a lot of text. Other than that, it's a very solid and fun card game, great work!

Thank you! Yes, that's true, the balance is currently a bit off - I might've focused too much on making it not feel irritating, and it ended up just being hard to lose at some point. Thanks for the feedback!

Amazing game - everything from controls to UI just feels so smooth and well-polished, and it is very fun to play too!

The idea is quite original in the first place, and I love how subtly and effectively mechanics are introduced by level design only. The ending is adorable :)

Great work!

Thank you!

Awesome! As lovable as it is simple - and very addictive (I travelled about 1.5km before I knew it, lol). Loved the visuals and the sounds, overall very fun, good-looking and enjoyable game

Very nice looking game, loved the idea and the visuals - the oil pouring out of the pipe looks awesome, very nice touch. The controls feel a bit clumsy and confusing though, making tasks somewhat more difficult then they actually are, but overall great work!

Hey, thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback! :)

Fullscreen option should be available in Settings in Main Menu, and should work in browser version too (it works here in Chrome) - could you please tell if it works for you? Think I've seen a couple more complaints about this, wonder if that's a bug or just a thing people tend to miss  Sorry, nevermind - I just discovered how one adds a native itch Fullscreen button, think it should solve things now. Thanks again for the heads up!

And yeah, it sure could use ambience and some good sound balancing - didn't have a chance to get it polished, will probably try to fix this after the jam

Thanks!

Yes, that was exactly the idea with the lighting - glad you noticed :)

True, same here. Doesn't start

Thank you! :)

Thanks! Really glad to hear you enjoyed it, means a lot

Also reaching Day 5 is pretty cool, respect :)

Thank you!
