This is a great experience, the game is super polished and the puzzles really get you to think. It builds a great atmosphere.
Although there were a few times when I started clicking wildly (and still got the answer!). I couldn't pass level 15 though :( Thats still a lot of content.
Something to be proud of.
Welcome to the Jam Scene! There's heaps of creativity here and its always exciting to see newcomers join us.

I love that jams give us time to learn new workflows and tools in an isolated environment! For mine I dived into 2D Rigging and VFX.

Great concept with that juiciness! The Panini Projection adds to visual appeal when climbing higher and higher.
As soon as I hit a glitch block my brain just got so confused as to what key I needed to press, so I guess you achieved your design. Thoroughly enjoyed, and thoroughly confused.
Overall a great entry!
An interesting twist on a classic game that we're all familiar with. At first I was confused as to how this fit with the theme, but as soon as I got to the second level it clicked. Turns out my brain struggles with backwards controls - But I couldn't pass the third level (20 moves).
Presentation was great and felt super clean and cohesive. Glad I got to play it!
I really enjoyed your art style, and the puzzles made me think for a second. The design focus of a defensive tower defense was a cool flip on the genre and I loved seeing my little foxes march off to safety.
My one wish was a slightly more vertical camera, as there were times when I wasn't sure what the foxes were dying to.
Well done!
This game was quite fun for the first few minutes and the art is fantastic, but some issues are present.
Some of the abilities are too fast and are hard to see, and have any real effect.
The Water Blades seemed far more effective than the other abilities.
The key bindings are not the most ergonomic, perhaps allowing Mouse Input or Spacebar would be more suited. Because of its key, I found I barely used the blink ability.
After the first 2 or so minutes, the game starts to flatten out, and I was able to just stand still with no input to pass many waves, occasionally picking up loot.
The upgrades a probably a little over-priced for a jam entry, there's no way I was going to unlock any without significant time investment.
The art and audio fit into the game perfectly, and the variation of music helps as well. Great use of parallax to create depth.
Overall great entry!
Looks great! But I didn't realize I had to hold down the key at first. By having to just hold the key it felt like I wasn't doing much other than running into the enemies.
Animations are great, but the attack sound started to get old after a few swings, potentially try pitch variation to simply alter the sound at run-time.
Agree with the others, that some verticality, or other movement options would be nice.
Here's our game, hope you enjoy! Action Smash-up - Take down B-CORP
