Where the fuck is win64

I am the only one to notice genius of the naming?

Hi, we are looking for a musician, are you still available?

Hi, we are also looking for musician, are you still available?

10. Now I noticed problem with disappearing meshes on edge of vision: when you move camera fast enough you can see how meshes disappear. I've already encountered it - it occurs when you use too much meshes on the scene, and occlusion culling deletes them to quickly. Solution is rather to use larger meshes, and abandon small ones (it will also increase performance), or blend couple of small meshes into large ones - it is possible in engine, watch tutorials on that.

9. Try to eliminate text instructions - its better when you build game in such way, that player know for himself what to do

Idea is good, level concepts are creative (much more than in other games) but has a lot of technical problems:
1. Your textures repeat constantly - on the walls, floor and so on. Try to use global UV instead of local one (just look on YouTube tutorials for those materials, it will help dramatically)
2. Walking speed and mouse is just to high. In liminal games you want to taste this feeling, experience moments when world is so tight and small, but you are still walking endlessly in those mazes endlessly. It increases liminality
3. Lights are inconsistent - some of them are too bright, some of them are too dark, and you cant see room at all.
4. Reflections in elevator are horrible. I would recommend to eliminate them completely
5. When interacting with objects  (buttons, doors etc) effects of interactions, like toggling lights or something, constantly repeat themselves - just attach to interactable objects node "Do once" and you will be fine
6. Loading levels needs to be reworked, First of all - when you change level games doesnt tell you about it, so when you push the button and nothing changes it looks just as if game is broken. You could try to just show black screen or something like that. But if approach it more creatively, I recommend to do loadings like in Half Life - you just walk into corridor, new level loads without visual changes, and player feels like world just blends from one level to another, so it feel a lot more liminal. Also if you could it make without loading screens (for example split one large levels into chunks and delete them if players walks past them) it would be beautiful
7. Music is good, but it is the same on each level. Its bad, because music can underline individual aspects of levels, so it would be better if you change it on each level. Also please make smooth fade in and out, not just turn music on
8. Levels are too small. I understand that when you are indie developer creating large levels is just impossible, but you could try to make an illusion that levels are big. For example The Complex game achieved it with smaller walk speed and by creating a lot of alternative paths, that you can explore, so it creates an illusion that level is huge.

All in all idea is good, but techical rework is needed
(Please dont take it offensive :D)

F.e Undertale could be categorized as interactive fiction, but has elements of fightning - could we do something similar? For example 2D shooter with gachi sound effects :D

Honestly speaking idea of creating game about queer vampires sounds good in my head, but only if I could make fun of it :D
Not in offensive sense - one member of our team is queer

Oh. I didnt think about that. Thanks.
And about black screen - my OpenGL is 4.6.0, but there may be some problems with Nvidia drivers, so I am working on it. If i would have some results - will write back.

Hello, thanks for amazing app! On Windows it works perfectly, but on Linux (Fedora) I ran into problem - there is just black screen. I have GTX 1650 TI and last NVIDIA drivers. What can possibly be an issue?

P.S
And also, please add negative height to normal maps, there are cases when I need to lower height, not to raise.

This is the best reply I ever seen, somebody understood all the reference we made)

About wolfs - with hitboxes everything ok, I made it for simulating inaccuracy of bullets, there is a chance to bullet go throw wolf. But as I see that was a bad idea.

This stream would be like:
 - Opens game
- Its another top-down shooter
- Plays 10 seconds, closes the game and writes "Best game I ever played"

The more ratings you get - more fair that score is.

They were just a talented speedrunners :D

And also it depends on games they played - if this game is just top down shooter with one weapon and one enemy then you have nothing to say about it

No, I dont think that you are mean. Getting better thats what are game jams about, and how is it possible without honest opinion on your games?

About your game - its really good bro, when I was writting reply I just couldnt figure out something bad

Yes, same. At the beginning I was nervous, so for me this positivity was relaxing, but with time I just became annoyed by this. Man, I just want honest opinion so I could become better, please say me some shit in the game! It would be best if you tell me some mistakes that I even didnt noticed!

About games that deserve more true - there is one game(not ours because its a little bit overrated) https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-9/rate/1932825
Or also underrated https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-9/rate/1933664
I think these game deserve better

Ive rated yours, please rate mine

Please dont forget to rate mine

This game is just about working as a president - signing or not some shitty and useless laws which were written by some stupid ass for votes. Pretty accurate. Still need a development but funny :D

https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-9/rate/1932665
Ill rate yours right away

Rated. Really was difficult :D

Interesting mechanic, I liked that. Tiles are a little bit odd (same problem), and platforms sometimes are too hard to jump onto, but still good.

Of course not news - you didnt see what going on in the code! :D

This code looks as bad as code of Yandere Simulator

Thanks bro. Ill fix this problem with lags - its definitely my fault, almost everyone has this problem.

Please, develop your ideas! Its just top-down shooter with one type of enemies and no purpose in gameplay. Idea of changing stats after death is ok, I liked it, but develop it! For example changing type of weapon, enemies, yourself, you can move e.t.c.  Graphics is good, minimalistic and good looking.

Ill rate your game honestly, so please, do as well

https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-9/rate/1932665
Thank btw

Oh, it was your first game?! Its soo cool, considering realisation. It was my first jam too, so I had a lot of stress too, but it was helpful for my expirience. Supportivnes and kindness of community at beginning feels good, but at some point I started to appreciate honest reaction with criticism and mentioning of mistakes, instead of just "I liked it".

Who wants play my game and write an honest reactionhttps://itch.io/jam/brackeys-9/rate/1932665

Quit strange platformer. I liked graphics, despite that fact that it is created in Paint (but why is this elephant nazi, wtf???). Controlls are just unbareble. Elephant has big speed and high jump, but still has inertia, therefore player feels like an Sonic in soap. Look on YouTube "How to improve platforming controlls". In this videos are mentioned how to improve jumps. Level design is strange - how am I supposed to know that rock above the level is my goal? This rotating thing at the right of looks like my goal. I recommend in the future  or give to your level goal bright design, or mention it directly to the player. Some of ideas I liked - for example idea with a code, its quit unique idea. Also I liked that collider of platforms is exactly like on texture - it feels cool and smooth.

I like this idea, here you go. Now I will rate your game

Well, for variety I tried to add shotgun in the end, but AI of enemies is so bad that in result it didnt change much...

If genius like you liked our game we succeeded! :D

This game is just about how pointless my life is.

Oh yeah, somebody payed attention to the HP! :D

Yeah, also I wanted to add some sound and effect for damage, but I didnt had time, but thanks)

Ill rate your game right away
