La véritÉ est trop dure a accepté!!!
Maintenant je connais lé répose et rien ne sera plus jamai pareill!!!!!!!

Team petit ange 👼

Hi Adam!
I really love your Nanodex, and so I decided to make my own version of it, with new original creatures!
You can find it right here.

Please let me know if you think that I made an unfair use of your work, and I'll remove/edit my game accordingly.

Cheers!

Those cute little monsters are also pronouns!
In this Bitsy game, explore a gallery of pixelated creatures called Promons.
They are all impatiently waiting to meet you! Want to join them? It's right this way!

Promons: page 1

Each Promon represents a gendered pronoun (he, she, they, it, fae, per, xe, ... ). Apart from being cute, the intention of the game is to showcase a variety of nice and sometimes unusual neopronouns.
Each monster has a few lines of cute/funny/quirky flavour text, which illustrates how to use its associated pronoun.
There is no actual gameplay, it's more like a Pokedex. I should also mention that this game is my personal take on Adam Saltsman's Nanodex!

I hope that you will discover new pronouns you had never heard about, and maybe try some of them for yourself! 🌲

Thank you for your attention, have a nice day! ☀️

Trop cooooooooooooooooooool !!!!

This has been haunting my mind since I first played it about a year ago.
I'm now starting to make my own version of a MCQ-based TTRPG, as a tribute to this game. Would you mind telling me which tool you used to generate the forms?

Thank you for your awesome creations, keep up the great work! <3

Theme idea: Trouble.
Tool suggestion: Easy Releasy by Jannik Boysen, great to make creative itch.io pages easily!
Thank you for organising yet another jam Adam, keep up the great work!

this game has been obsessing me since i first found out about it around a year ago, i've been reading through it over and over again and sharing it with all my friends and community members
-
i also find it really sweet how you took time to answer every single comment on this page so far, thank you so much for your work and dedication! <3

You really nailed this right! I also started working on a Bitsy version of the Stanley Parable for the loops game jam, but you already made it so good I don't think I could do any better ^_^
Great job!

Also, I can replicate the bugs mentioned by q1 on a mac, using google chrome.

Awesome, the perfect complement needed to make a full game using your Sprout Lands assets. Keep up the great work!

Hi! Really cute looking game project you have here! I came from the Sprout Lands asset pack page and I was wondering: where did you find the nice looking GUI elements you use in the game? Did you create them yourself?
Have a nice day!

Hi! Just a message to say that I just bought the premium pack and I'm very happy with it!
I'm also very excited about the GUI extension you mentioned, and I'll definitely get it when it comes out.
Keep up the good work! :-)

A dreamy promenade suspended in time. Even after visiting all locations multiple times, I still feel like this location is hiding something from me. Intriguing in a delicate way, and so peaceful. The leitmotiv of mirrors perfectly echoes back to the theme of questioning identities.

It is also a subtle initiation (or a guide) to the art of enjoying the Shutter Stroll...

Raw, but sincere and intensely relatable. We have to tell our stories, however much violence they may contain, so the rest of the world cannot pretend they didn't know about it. Keep going!

I've been making games as a hobby for around three years, but I've always felt a bit dissatisfied with my games because they didn't really carry a strong message or value. It takes a lot of work to make a game that's functional and visually appealing to begin with, so I was never able to focus on narration.

Around a year ago, I found out about Bitsy and was immediately seduced: with no coding required and a handy tile editor, I could finally skip the technical stuff and work on the meaningful part of the game experience!

After working on it for several months, I published a few days ago the first game I feel genuinely proud of: a Bitsy based on Ursula Le Guin's theory of carrier-bag fiction. I feel really inspired by this tool and I will keep on making more narrative games with it in the future! Thanks Adam ^_^

Super cool! Carrot's my favorite

Hi! If you ever happen to make a Mac build, please let me know as well! Your games look really cool but sadly I can't play most of them since they are for Windows only :-3

That's a really nice gameplay basis you have there! Do you plan on expanding it more by adding new levels?

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you liked it! :-)

I didn't find any way to contact you outside of this website, maybe send me an e-mail (you can find my address on my itch page) and I'll send you the script \_(^_^)_/
Et d'ailleurs on peut parler en français !

Yes, I noticed that! I'm mostly interested in toying around with the basic mechanics of world 1 for now, so I shouldn't need walls, but I'll try to see if I can add the animation for when you step on fire tiles.
Thanks a lot, I'll  keep you updated! :-)

Update: found a way to make the stepping back animation using realtime_interval, let me know if you're interested!

Hi au voleur!, thanks for this nice demake!

Would it be ok for me to reuse your script and assets to make my own SSR custom levels? I would of course credit you and everything :-)
I thought of redoing it all by myself, but since you already did such a great job it would save me the trouble haha

One possibility is that you might not be using the button in the intended way: you have to type something first, and then move your character to the platform to press the button. You don't need to press Enter on your keyboard. Does that help? :-)

Thank you, this is very useful feedback! You're right, there's a clear difficulty curve with the plus puzzles. I can probably make it easier by re-arranging that section so that you can easily come back to previously solved puzzles. I'll keep that in mind for future versions :-)

Have a nice day!

A Witness-like 2d game. Will you find the three secret elephants?

~~~
Hello! Thank you for checking out this post!
I am a big fan of the game The Witness by Jonathan Blow and his team, so I started working on a 2d fangame with a lot of puzzles and mysterious areas to explore. If you played the Witness and enjoyed it, or if you just like brainy exploration games, you might have a nice time unravelling the secrets of this little world!
Here's the link to the game's page: (I worked hard on making it look nice!)
https://gingerbreaddevelopment.itch.io/millefeuille
The first outdoor area looks something like this:
The main gate of the intro area
And this is one of the many puzzles in the game (you'll have to discover the rules by yourself):
An early puzzle being solved
The game is currently at a prototype stage, with a total of three different areas to explore, but I plan on developing it into something bigger in the future.
Thank you for reading, have a nice day !
I see! Thank you for your answer! :-)
This is a cute and relatively easy puzzle game! The core mechanic is not too complex, but because there's only five levels it feels like the right amount to enjoy :-)
Thanks for the game!
I also got stuck on 'Push Pals Unite' :-(
I really enjoyed the first few levels though, I like that there's enough space to make a false move and sill solve the puzzle!
Why is this elephant so aggressive though? 0_0
Thank you for the game!
It seems like this puzzle is too open-ended to be solved by a single player, so it might be a good idea to share tips and hints here in the comments.
For starters, I'm pretty sure the poster on the wall ('look poster') is going to be important...
[EDIT] Came back to it and was able to solve it on my own, although I used a lot of help from the Discord channel, especially to find how to get started!
Your game looks super nice! Do you have the possibility to export it for Mac OS as well? I would really like to try it!
Snakes are so scary! But it's really fun to ride their backs into the spikes. What a smart mouse.
Thanks for the game!
Haha, that's actually what I did! I'm just getting started with it! Thank you ^_^
It feels like a minimalist version of "A Short Hike", very nice vibe!
Nice little game! It didn't feel too much like cooperation in the second room though, since you had to solve the riddles yourself or ask for help. I enjoyed it anyway!
Thank you for the game!
Thank you for your feedback! We actually tried both alternatives regarding the controls, but ended up choosing this one that felt more intuitive to us. Sorry it didn't feel natural to you!
Hi-hi! We just released a little game jam project made using your assets (with credits of course), thought you might want to have a look!
