Timeframe?

I would love to see some of the combat for it! I, unironically, love the combat mechanics in a lot of 18+ games and I'm excited to see how this turns out! Do you have a timeline on when you are estimating the drop of the new update? If so, I would love to mark it in my calendar.

Greetings! Thank you for being interested! The combat system is actually being worked on right as I write this! We're still not entirely sure how it'll work, but we do want something other than just "mash button until enemy ded, repeat"

At the moment, we have... uh, TOO many animations for the player already, and we do have a few fun new combat moves

It's hard to give an estimate still, but I REALLY want to put a test build out sometime in the upcoming week or maximum 2 weeks, so we can start iterating over the combat system!

Oh wow! That sounds awesome! I know a lot of games that feature this type of content usually do stick to simplicity, which I am sure it applies to some applications and works. the problem though is it is hard to keep a consistent player base. Sure it might be an 18+ game, but it's not just a prno. Having a flushed out combat system, storyline, and varying explicit scenes, not only makes the game fun, but it makes it unique and that's how you keep a player base! I appreciate you reaching out so promptly! I can't wait to see how this turns out because it already looks amazing! I do have one question though; What is the purpose of looking up in the game? When I was moving around, I realized "down" did nothing, "left and right" obviously moves the character left and right, but 'up" showed the hidden portion of the screen by looking up. Is there a use for this mechanic yet?

There are a few secrets you can trigger and look at in certain situations if you have a keen eye! In the future we might use this feature more for exploration and perhaps a few puzzles too ^^

That sounds awesome! I can't say I have ever seen a mechanic like it, and it sounds very interesting. I cant wait to see where it goes! I believe I bought it so I can officially say you have my full support!

Sounds like these people want to make a 2D Sifu

this was suppose to be a compliment. . . . . . . .

Fighting mechanics in a platforming beat-'em-up makes Predation - which has been in development for a good several years - into a 2D version of a very specific game that released not even two years ago?

lol yeah no I don't think that is what they are going for at all
