Hi,

Sorry for the delay, I just saw this.  I’m a bit busy this month, but I could certainly brainstorm some track ideas.

Are you wanting a more realistic sound like Octopath Traveler and are there any particular instruments you’d like at the forefront?

As it’s a hobby project, I don’t know if I could commit to an entire score as it depends on my workload, but I’m willing to contribute what I can.

I’ll reach out on Discord later this week.

Hey everyone,

My name is Danny, I'm a professional composer from Tacoma, Washington.  I am reposting this as I’ve just finished some client work and I’m available again to collaborate.

I excel at writing memorable melodies and motifs that gets stuck in people's heads and I love crafting sounds that immerse people into different worlds.  I believe my creativity and energy could truly make something special for your projects.

I’ve done two projects thus far on itch.io one for a client and another for a game jam and I’ve really loved the experience and creativity in the projects I’ve worked on.

As far as rates, I'm flexible depending on the project and scope.

Looking forward to creating with you,

- Danny

Hi Amu_nore!

Thank you so much for leaving the feedback! The problems you experienced were due to the build not being complete. This was our first game jam and despite the simplicity of the game we envisioned to make we were in quite a bit over our heads.  Despite this we still wanted to share the progress we did make in those four days as we poured a lot of time into trying to make it all come together :)

Had a total blast playing this game! Really cool style and an interesting mechanic to navigate the level.  Only feedback would including a soundtrack because this game absolutely deserves one!

Brilliant work, I had a lot of fun :D

I absolutely loved the concept here! I did not win, but I had a ton of fun losing.  Took a bit of time to grasp the slowing up and speeding down but once I got the hang of it it was fun to use the time scaling to maneuver the level!

Really fantastic work here!

It took me a hot minute to figure out how to use the controls with both the ball and portals, but once I figured that part out I had a blast playing the game.  I grew up playing Sierra's 3-D minigolf that had some weird level designs and the concept of the portals making the ball bigger and smaller really took me back to that game.  If I had to suggest anything it would be clearer instructions for goons like me who struggle so much! Also, maybe a bit of music cause I loved the sound effects you chose!

Took me a moment to understand how to use the controls, but once I got that sorted I really had fun trying to solve the puzzles here :D

Cool concept and I especially liked the sound effects used for the portals!

Awesome work!!

Perfect, sent you a request.

Okay, I'll take a look at some 40k and find some dystopian pixel art to reference.  What I'll do is make a few mock up demos and see if we can find a sound that fits your vision for the project.  If so, then we can discuss pricing or coming to another arrangement, how does that sound for you?

Lastly, what is the best way to contact you moving forward?

Perfect, that helps a lot. Do you have art/concept art, or a tech demo that I can reference to get a feel for the game and it’s style?

I do love a good strategy game, I'm excited to see what you create!

A few questions:

- Are you wanting something that's more chill and ambient, or something melodic with a more noticeable melody?

- Will this piece of music be playing in the main menu, or would this piece be something that would loop during gameplay?

- For the synthwave/cyberpunk sound I can definitely do that, are you wanting something retro, or cinematic, or a combination of both?

Hey there fellow Washingtonian!

Can you tell me a little more about the project you are working on and what kind of sound you are hoping to achieve?
