I believe everything aesthetically is on point; Art, scenery, and good use of music.
The problem here and a MAJOR one, it's no playable. And that's supposed to be the main idea. It leads me to believe that you guys focused so much on the "how it will look" rather than the gameplay. Again, it looks great, that's what lead me to try it, but the overall experience... no so great.
Great music and spookiness of atmosphere
the concept is amazing! i love the music and art style :D
"Mother, my hat appears to be stuck to the ceiling"
Joking aside, I can see what you were going for, with the music, sound and animation you absolutely have potential to make something great.
The art, music, and concept were very nice. You guys should add the instructions in the description because I was very lost lol. Hope you guys get to finish this someday!
It looked like you had a nice idea but I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do and couldn't get a hold of the controls. From what I tried we can use WASD or arrow keys to move, space bar to jump but not high enough except if we are next to wall then we can levitate but it doesn't feel intentional since I fell out of the platform or got stuck in the air. Q to use the potion and E in front of the mirror to transform back to Jekyll. Can you add more informations please ? The menu, the art and the music looked all really great just missing the instructions to get to the fun.
Hi Amu_nore!
Thank you so much for leaving the feedback! The problems you experienced were due to the build not being complete. This was our first game jam and despite the simplicity of the game we envisioned to make we were in quite a bit over our heads. Despite this we still wanted to share the progress we did make in those four days as we poured a lot of time into trying to make it all come together :)
