Adoro l’arte e il design grafico!

oh heck yes

That’s correct ─ the trade-off being that prestigious items can be coveted and taken from you by particularly mean NPCs

I realise it’s not clear enough in how advancement is phrased, but I’ve always run it that any time you advance special skills, that’s two points in those, rather than just two points in a new skill

tbh I’ve also seen people using the Troika! method which is that skills you succeed at give you a chance to increase their value during downtime

:3

oh shit son this rocks

Thanks! I was inspired by Gradient Descent whose room numbers are also the page numbers

Oh this is cracking! I love a scenario that leans hard into “well just what does this magic mean”. Maps are real good too and give me excellent nostalgia for reading 3E dungeons as a nascent DM

I really love the locations within this! It feels like an excellent classicist take on a traditional grove

They’re real hecking good ─ nicely Di Terlizzigned

This is intensely good and I especially love the whole harvest mechanism. (I’m doubly keen on the entry since I’ve also used that cover art for a game one time! http://seanfsmith.itch.io/puffin)

i’ve updated my journal

A phenomenal accomplishment! I love the tone and the depth of setting within so few pages. It’s rare someone threads that needle so well

Anagrams AND Foglio-inspo? Cracking

Anagrams AND Foglio-inspo? Cracking

I really like the whole thread of this ─ reminds me of some Jason Sholtis work! Particularly love the clues you’ve got for the riddle: excellent work.

I did that thing where I’d hidden the files! Should be fixed now

this is real hecking good, dude

:3

I usually default to a more common coordinates system (usually X-axis and Y*60°), but where the initial prompt was for exactly 36 hexes and I was building a locked-off location, I suddenly realised that there was a simple way to key each hex with a single symbol!

For something on a larger scale, I don’t think it’s better, but I’m leaning towards using it for dungeon rooms too

hwœw! that was GOD gamen

I love seeing new TG hacks! This rocks

Thanks for the heads up! I had thought that the link I’d put up was the type that creates a fresh local copy

Precisely that!

The outside doors lead out of the cube by design, but depending on how mean I was feeling I might infinitely loop them too

When the room descriptions are complete I’ll reupload ─ those list where each door exits. I’m also intending on creating a flowchart map too.

But as an example, at the very top right of the map, the south doors lead to two different rooms. Each of those rooms would have two doors in their north wall, both of which lead back to that first room

Thanks Sam :DD

Thanks so much :))

That’s right! It’s meant to push the more occult and technical professions to the outer edge.

Though mechanically it would break if you used a different system to determine which background (hell, it’ll work with all Troika! backgrounds too)

[o+w not theirs nor affiliated but I do like Dan’s moustache]

And have clicked approve! Thanks so much for organising this! 🍉🍉🍉

whoops, I had hidden the files! thanks for letting me know

Hey hey! So all three are now up

Huge fan of these Courting Rules

Suffice to say, they’re now in my standard houserules

Well done on crossing the finish line!

Such is the price of loose morals

I knew I must have missed them somewhere! Thanks for the note ─ I’ll pare them out with the next update pass.

Thanks for the kind words too :))

oh this is excellent

Thanks a lot! I find there’s so rarely proper description of casual material culture and I really like the tone and vibe it brings to a game

Yeah, that looks like a good line !

Another thing I have done is liberally stolen from the Fighting Fantasy books ─ the wiki here lists a load of creatures, and each entry has a skill / stamina rating. Not sure if there is a way to sort by the scifi books, but poking around might help! https://fightingfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Creatures

Excellent news ─ I can’t wait to give it a full read !
