Visually, this game is stunning. It feels like a demake of a modern rogue-like. I had a bit of trouble getting used to the game and found that if I stepped even a bit too close to an edge, I'd immediately fall down, which was a little confusing sometimes. The combat took some getting used to as well with the mix of topdown and 3D.

Absolutely wonderfully crafted game, looks and plays great. Definitely feels like a classic title, though I had a bit trouble at the start of the game given the lack of an introduction to the controls.

I love how alive this art style feels and how well the colors are used. The game itself is quite short but visually this is absolutely wonderful and controls nicely too!

Based on the video, I think it feels awkward to you because you neither sprint (which is something you do in all platformers to jump higher) nor used the character wheel to slow down time by moving the right thumbstick. Instead, you only used quick-swapping with the DPad, which is a lot harder to use.

All of these features are presented in the tutorial, but it seems like you didn't notice, which could either be our fault (bad design) or yours (not paying attention). Either way, for the next demo, we'll try making it more clear by enabling auto-sprinting by default as well as streamlining the tutorial boards more.

Also, sorry if this sounded aggressive, I only wanted to present these points of view as a means to gain a better understanding of how we can improve. They're simply objective analytical observations ;)

Thanks for playing!
