I got ending 1, but not 2.
The distorted field of vision, and quick camera turn speed made it hard to play.
The visuals do align with the intended feel though.

got the good ending :D
i was also stuck with the 2 bottles, but found out where from one of your comments

nice storytelling and pacing.
the visuals and voiceovers complement the overall feel well.

nice way of telling story, and the way it twisted. very effective

thank you!

thanks again :D

ahh thanks so much. so cool to watch your gameplay video. Seeing how different sections are played.
How did you manage to play and upload so fast?

ayy thanks a lot!

Hehe thanks.

Thank you!

Glad you like it!

Thanks! It was nice to animate. I thought of the idea :P . Hat received!

Thank you!
Yes, I shall check :D

well presented game. looks crisp.
the end zombies-- i just avoided and ran to door :P

very apt use of the theme. and the fact that you can understand exactly what to do and what's happening, without any instructions, is quite cool.

oh wow! :O
i did die many times though hehe.
But hmmm.. yess... i'll try out again

The concept is well-executed. After a while, I figured how to navigate smoothly even with control-changes. But I kept dying in the 3rd level's end area, where you fall down into a long pikes-pit, and there's seemingly no way to get back up. nicely controllable character and level layouts though!

Good way to keep adding more absurd stuff. Nice potential to continuously get weird!

Nice graphics and sounds. It looks very cool.
But I kept on losing. I think I'm not able to convert the actions that they're doing into the text options. Maybe if in the crime-choosing menu, if there was visual indication of crimes?

Nice game and story.
If there's some indication that the pot has hit the person, that would be handy.

It's pretty sweet use of not being able to jump, but only move.
I got stuck at level 5 though. Even after several attempts, i couldnt get to the other side of the machine on the right end.

Thank you!! I loved the theme, and was fun to see how far it could be stretched!
The sounds aren't there in the gamejam version, but has been added in the updated one with better visuals and sound fx that I'll upload once the uploads are allowed after voting period.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it

Thanks! yeah, it's very basic platforming

Thank you!
Those are some nice ways to expand the game.
I do hope to make bigger games in the future :)

Nice concept. It's a bit tough to figure controls instantly. So pacing out learning of controls as levels without enemies might've eased into the gameplay instead of the text tutorial.

It was cool.

If there was some clear indication of when the current character is going to end next going to start, it'd help strategize

Thank you!! :)

That's because it's not there in the uploaded version.  :P
The dog is textured in the new version (which will be uploaded once the voting period is over). That is being done with the help of Ebsynth- though manual correction also had to be done over it. But I think I can streamline the process better for future projects

nice short game! The sprites are well done.
One issue I had was that the game was visually very dark. Even after increasing my display brightness, it was hard to see things clearly.

Cool little game using easy-to-understand concepts!

The game atmosphere was cool.
I collected all the stuff... but nothing happened after that. Just a text confirmation of 'You Win' or something would be nice

Thank you so much! Glad you liked it!

Thank you! :D

Thank you! Yes, I focused a lot on the visuals, but was struggling to get these levels working by deadline.

Sure! I'll be checking out your game

Thank you so much!

I agree that the horns need sound. But by the time I figured how to add sound, the deadline was over, and I couldn't upload the newer version. Same for the downloadable file. I'll be uploading an improved version once the voting period is over.

Yus, I'll be trying out your game!

Ebsynth is quite cool. I was thinking of making a video explaining the processes that went through making this game.

Thanks! I've shifted my daily workflows to FLOSS in the past few years. Still come across great new tools to learn very often!

heheh Thanks

Thank you! The dog has been good :D

Thanks! I was so happy when I got the lighting working!
