Congrats for being first during LXD Jam 24! Can you contact Shapers for the reward. Contact info can be found on shapers.nl

hi SrPinwino, sorry for the late response. Could you Please send an email to shapers that you are number 3 of the game jam? The contact information can be found on shapers.nl

Congrats Zombicycle, your game was just shown at the round-up of LXDCON'24! Great game :). This was the first time we hosted the Jam and we liked it. So maybe we will do it more often.

The jam is over! We want to say thank you for participating in LXD Jam 24. We loved hosting this jam. Maybe we will do it more often! Would love to hear your experience.

And congratulations to the winners!

Aquariums are so calming :), especially with that music!

Fun concept! Simple, yet strangely enjoyable. And the writing nails the theme for me. It's an example of how to lure players into giving more meaningful answers without thinking about it. I could really see this working in situations when reflection is needed. Congrats!

I assume it has to do with not filling in all developer details, but I'm guessing here. The error says that Windows stopped an application from an unknown developer.

Really wanted to rate your game, but it's not working. And there is no description or images as well.

I really wanted to rate your game. It looks interesting. However I get a system warning when trying to boot your game.

I like that you have thought of competitive and co-operative ways to play. This fits the theme. I'm missing a bit of 'experience' surrounding it. Why should I play this game? Is there a story, a setting or an 'idea' behind it? Congratulations on submitting a game!

Hi jammers, the submission is closed and all jammers are looking forward to see their final review score.  There are some participants who have not received a lot of ratings yet. Please try to rate as many games as you can. It is a great opportunity to learn from constructive feedback. In the submissions page there is a filter for 'least rated'. Please help these jammers out and rate their games!

Thanks!

Hi Ben 2003, yes, there is no 'judging', it is indeed only based on ratings other jammers give you. We are unfortunately not an enormous game jam (like GMTK), so getting ratings is harder. Your game does seem very interesting, however it is less convenient to download a game than it is to play in browser. So, this might be an issue for your rating. You can ask the community to rate your game. Or you might consider adding a web build of your game to your itch page. Good luck!

Hi First sybmol, I just found out that I can give you a late submission ink. I can do that if you send me an email at maarten @ shapers .nl

This game is fun and on theme! The sound is too loud and it crashed during the wind level, but still a really enjoyable game. Played with my son  of 4:).

I think this game looks and plays great, especially for a game created in one night! In my opinion it has (almost) nothing to do with the theme however. The visuals and sound are good. I'm curious, have you created the art yourself?

The rating period of LXD Jam 24 is extremely short compared to other game jams, because it is hosted during a conference. Please be patient until the end of the voting period. All who submitted need to review 5 other games in order for their own game to be rated. So if all goes well, your entries should be rated by others. If not, feel free to ask for ratings before the end of the voting period. Good luck.

Yes, the submission is closed now. I thought it was still open, but it isn't. This is the first jam we organize. Next time will keep this in mind. Sorry to hear that you didn't manage to submit, but I hope it was still a great learning experience.

Sorry you were not able to submit in time. I see that indeed the submission is closed now.

Hi bapaka, oh no! I believe you have to make an itch.io page for your game and then submit that to LXD Jam 24. And maybe it takes a little while to show up? Can you tell me more about where you are confused? You can always take a look at Itch.io help or simply google it.

Wow, submissions are flooding in! The submissions are now closed. We are looking forward to playing your games :). Congratulations for all who submitted a game!

Here's a video about how to add contributors to a game (page):

When you upload a game (page) the admin can assign other admins. For this jam we have set a maximum of 5 people per team. All contributors should be able to vote. Good luck!

Thanks ParryMime, I guess :)

Hi SrPinwino, when you collaborate there should be one dedicated submittor/uploader who can then assign other contributors. Everybody who submits to the jam, as well as the contributors should be able to vote other games. I will check if I can find some Itch documentation to confirm this.

17,5 hours to be exact. You can find all rules in the jam page.

Hi Zombicycle, the time to rate has indeed increased. The submission time has been sat earlier so that everyone around the globe has time to rate. Good luck!

As long as it's not a commercial for some alcoholic drink or promoting misuse of alcohol it's fine I guess.

LXD Jam 24 is hosted during the LXDCON conference. That's why jammers initially had only 2,5 hours for rating other games. This does not work for everybody around the globe. That's why we have decided to change the submission time to June 13th, 11 PM. Now, everybody has the chance to rate the mandatory 5 other games.

Sorry for the last minute change. This is our first game jam ;).

We have changed the submission deadline to be earlier, so that everybody around the world can have a chance to rate other games. Thank you for the suggestion. Will keep this in mind for the next time.

Hey RaynorDev, I'm not sure, but I'm going to look into it and will come back to you.

It's live!

It's being announced right now at the LXDCON'24 conference. It will be live in a few minutes.

Today is the day! It's actual the official international day of play. This must be fate! The theme for this jam will be announced in a couple of minutes!! Hold tight!

That's a great idea, but this is our first jam. So, maybe when we do this more often, we will create a discord server for our jams. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi Kotobr, the theme 'Let's Play' is the theme of the conference that is hosting this game jam. The theme for the game jam will indeed be announced tomorrow.
