Bro this was actually the coolest game I played today  from the concept to the mechanics very very solid game bro I think u could expend on it. Check out my game too bro I could use some feedback

Fun concept! Simple, yet strangely enjoyable. And the writing nails the theme for me. It's an example of how to lure players into giving more meaningful answers without thinking about it. I could really see this working in situations when reflection is needed. Congrats!

This game is really imaginative and captures a choose-your-own-adventure-style game in a way I have not seen before. I found myself actually thinking about what responses I would do in these situations and imagining all the scenery surrounding me. For 72 hours this is incredibly impressive. I feel that some slight ambient noise like radio static might help improve the experience. Also, for some reason the link at the end of the game would not load.

Wow, thank you so much for saying so and for the great feedback! I'm so happy it connected with you that way. I definitely had ambitions of being more audiovisual, including creating more pixel art and sourcing a whole lot of HAM radio sound effects, but I ended up having to use a version of Twine that didn't support images or sound (I have near zero programming ability).

Ultimately a needed constraint to get it all done in time, but I definitely plan on making things a bit more "tactile" in a future iteration ;)

I'm sorry the ending link didn't load for you! I've also had some inconsistency with the browser being able to open external links.

//SPOILERS// Each randomized scenario ends with an external link that sends you to an article or resource that represents the knowledge shared with you, such as a CDC article on how to purify water. Unfortunately it sounds like it's only been working for some people and not others. If you'd like to tell me which survivor scenario you had I can send you the intended knowledge gained. ////SPOILERS//

Great entry! I can't imagine the effort it takes to implement such storytelling into the experience, well done!

Thank you so much! The secret is having the player write half the story 😉

Wow! this was so engaging. It was a lot of fun. I actually felt some tension as I imagined myself in the role of the story. I like your GIF too.

That is high praise, thank you! My hope was for a player or two to form that kind of connection 🤗  I used to tinker with pixel art a lot during lockdown so it was nice to have an excuse to get back into some 8-bit gif creation
