Thank you for your feedback! We are really happy that you liked the demo and all your topics will be useful to improve it!
I also already checked and, yes, the absurd amount of bees was a bug, the genius here forgot to disactivate the respawn from those bees.
Also, about the lives: we are planning to make starting lives (or even having infinite lives) an option later, but we could consider increase the number for this version too. Thanks!
Cool game, it's very atmospheric and has a lot of potential.
I just have 2 suggestions:
- make the hitbox more accurate, sometimes the box didn't pass trough some areas with really enough space visible;
- when the box is stopped by something while you're still holding it, the character will continue to move, which sometimes lead him directly to the light. So if the character stopped with the box or the game gave some advice when this happens, the unfair error chance will reduce.
Fun game, it's very creative, it's just a shame that I'm not good on games like this (I only passed the level 1, so I think my comment isn't pretty relevant lol)...
Answering the questions:
1. Placing tiles. The hero doesn't have any interaction that needs some player input. If the animation had more "feel", it would work as a great reward.
2. The placing tiles itself. I think that would be more clear if the icons turned around following the camera rotation, that would reduce the player error chances.
3. I would like to play it on Steam.
